Gears of War Movie Plot Leaked

LatinoReview, an online publication that covers the film industry, got access to a 22-page draft of the Gears of War movie penned by Stuart Beattie, of Pirates of the Caribbean fame. LatinoReview has a proven track record of getting leaked movie scripts of major motion pictures.

 

The movie kicks off during the last battle of the Pendulum Wars, which according to the "Destroyed Beauty: An Inside Look at Gears of War" book, it was the seventy-nine year war that humanity fought on Sera before Emergence Day.

 

From there, the movieʼs plot will follow Marcus Fenix, Dom Santiago and other Gears as they face the Locustʼs invasion and the subsequent destruction of Seraʼs surface by a desperate Coalition of Ordered Government. Then, the story picks up ten years later.
