δοκίμασε να τρέξεις το πρόγραμα με την εντολη sudo. έτσι θα έχει root διακιώματα.αλλά ίσως είναι επικίνδυνο, δεν το εγγυώμαι 100%

Να κατεβάσεις το Vmware για Linux. Μετά πήγαινε στο https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ και κάνε αναζήτηση την λέξη Vmware. Θα σου εμφανίσει αρκετά αποτελέσματα με οδηγίες. Στείλε μου και ένα p.m. να σου πω πως το "αγοράζουμε"...

It is safe to take all the defaults.

Είναι για την έκδοση VMware-workstation-5.5.1-19175.tar.gz. Εσύ από το link που σου έδωσα κατέβασες την VMware-workstation-5.5.3-34685.tar.gz. Οπότε πρέπει να δώσεις:

 

tar xzf VMware-workstation-5.5.3-34685.tar.gz

 

Αφού κατεβάσεις το πρόγραμμα από την παρακάτω διεύθυνση. Μετά το βάζεις σε έναν φάκελο και αφού μπεις από terminal στον φάκελο αυτό δίνεις την παραπάνω εντολή.

Μάλλον πρέπει να περάσεις και αυτό το patch.

Αφού το κατεβάσεις δώσε tar xvf vmware-any-any-update109.tar.gz. Μπαίνεις στον φάκελο που προκύπτει και σαν root εκτελείς το αρχείο runme.pl δίνοντας ./runme.pl. Τα υπόλοιπα θα τα κάνει μόνο του.

Επειδη το τρεχω στο Opensuse η εντολη απο κονσολα ειναι VirtualBox και οχι virtualbox (προσοχη στα κεφαλαια V και B, το Linux ειναι case sensitive).

 

Οποτε μαλλον πρεπει να δωσεις
