Πρόβλημα με beryl

Προσπάθησα να βάλω Beryl και τα κατάφερα! Aλλά με την πρώτη επανεκίνηση μου έβγαλε σφάλμα στην εκκίνηση του x server οπότε αναγκάστηκα να αποκαταστήσω το xorg.conf με το παλιότερο αρχείο(που το είχα κάνει ευτυχώς backup!) για να μπορέσω να τον εκκινήσω! Τώρα όταν προσπαθώ να εκκινήσω το beryl-manager μου βγαίνουν τα εξής σφάλματα οπότε δεν "λειτουργούν" τα εφέ...

Εχει κανείς καμμιά ιδέα αποκατάστασης της "ζημιάς"?? Κάθε πρόταση φυσικά ευπρόσδεκτη!!

Ναι ubuntu. Εχω μια nvidia 7900gt..

πρωτα θα κανεις εγκατασταση τους τελευταιους driver της nvidia συμφωνα με τις οδηγιες εδω

να κάνω πρώτα απεγκατάσταση?

ΜΕ sudo apt-get uninstall beryl-manager ?

κανε τα βηματα απο την αρχη οτι σου λεει.ενοειτε οτι οτι εχεις δεν το κανεις παλη εγκατασταση

Εχω κάνει post και το log οπότε είναι διαθέσιμο σε κάθε ενδιαφερόμενο..

Φίλε check2fire ρίξε μια ματιά σε παρακαλώ αν έχεις χρόνο θα με ενδιέφερε η γνώμη σου..

θα σου προτεινα να κανεις νεα εγκατασταση των driver συμφωνα με το link που σου εχω δωσει πιο πανω και μετα ακολουθησε τις οδηγιες για εγκατασταση beryl και aiglx

τους driver δλδ τους εχεις περασμενους?

για δωσε gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf και αντεγραψε εδω το αρχειο σου να το δουμε

Να σε προλάβω λέγοντας ότι όταν αλλάζω το nv -> nvidia τότε εμφανίζεται το error στη φόρτωση του x server..

τωρα εχεις περασμενους τους open driver στο συστημα σου

μαλλον στο βγαζει γιατι δεν εχεις περασει τους driver

δωσε αρχικα σε κονσολα αυτες εδω τις εντολες

sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx nvidia-kernel-common

sudo nvidia-xconfig

και μετα την εγκατασταση κανε επανεκιννηση χωρις να αλαξεις τιποτα

αν αυτο δεν δουλεψει μπες σε recovery mode δωσε sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg,και μετα δοκιμασε παλη να περασεις τους beta driver και δες αν οι εκδοσεις που περνας υποστιριζουν την καρτα σου

Δεν ξερω εαν σε βοηθησει αλλα ριξε και μια ματια στο wiki του ArchLinux να δεις τη παραγραφο που μιλαει για ρυθμιση του beryl με τους Nvidia drivers.

 

Μπορει να βρεις κατι χρησιμο.

Εντάξει όλα είναι καλά.. Ακολούθησα τις οδηγίες από το επίσημο site της Nvidia. Έκανα compile και install τους drivers και τώρα όλα είναι καλά! Ευχαριστώ πολύ πάντως!
