Conan Beta Tops 100K

By Crom, that's a lot of sign-ups!

 

Age of Conan recently opened sign-up for beta testers and the response has been overwhelming. Through Easter weekend more than 100,000 gamers signed up for a chance to get in on the Conan beta. It is unknown how many who signed up will be granted entry into the "technical" and "general" beta programs or when beta hopefuls will be notified of acceptance.

 

"We're naturally very pleased to see that so many dedicated gamers are signing up for the Age of Conan Beta at such a rapid pace," said Trond Arne Aas, CEO of Funcom. "With more than 100,000 gamers signed up in such a short time-frame our confidence in the game's potential and its ability to be a major contender in the MMO genre continues to be strengthened."

 

"We've been developing this incredible world for years now and today more than 150 people are working hard on achieving the ambitious goals we set out for the game," said Gaute Godager, founder of Funcom and Game Director on Age of Conan. "The team is very excited about the number of gamers who have signed up for the Beta so far, and we can't wait to see them charging into the brutal battlefields of Hyboria!"

 

Despite having a hefty number of applicants, beta sign-up for Age of Conan remains open. If you haven't signed up yet, you can do so at beta.ageofconan.com

Πάντα βγαίνουν καλύτερα παιχνίδια. Απλά υπάρχουν αυτά που κάνουν μεγάλη αίσθηση στην εποχή τους.

Το WoW είναι ένα από αυτά, αλλά το βαρέθηκα. Ελπίζω ότι το AoC θα κρατήσει το ενδιαφέρον μου.

Τα λόγια είναι περιττά...

Άντε να έρθει ο Νοέμβρης να ξεκινήσω τον νέο μου priest σε mmo.......Κολλημένος με το healing τι να κάνουμε xD. Επιτέλους ένα mmo που αναγνωρίζει το superiority της ονομασίας priest και έβαλε τον druid ως υποκατηγορία του. Αυτά για να τα βλέπουν μερικά nelfάκια και taurenάκια στο wow που νομίζουν ότι αγγίζουν στο ελάχιστο τις δυνατότητες στο healing του priest.

Έτσι για να ξαναθυμηθούμε το μέρος, μιας και βγήκε το βίντεο της εισαγωγής.

Δε λέω πολύ καλό φαίνεται το ΑοC αλλά για μένα τίθεται το ερώτημα. Μετά το WoW (και λίγο Lotro) με ποιό να ασχοληθώ; Με Age of Conan ή με Warhammer Online; Και τα 2 πολλά υποσχόμενα...
