just a piece of advice: 8800GTX or X950XTX ???

I recently read in PcMaster that X950XTX has just a bit better performance in fps than its rival GeForce 8800GTX. (4-5, I can't remember, it's not important.) However, if you want to buy a high-end system for a couple of years, you should choose the Nvidia model, since it supports DirectX10, (contrary to the ATI model, which supports 9.0c) in order to play future games with every effect enabled. So don't get impressed by high fps, since the card won't be able to display all those new special effects to come.

GF8800GTX blows away X1900XTX. Damn when i overclocked my CPU (@3.33Ghz) i got 11600points in 3D Mark 2006 and a Crossfire system with one X1900XTX and one X1900XT scored 11800points. Simply amazing? Yeap,the GF8800GTX is a real beast and can't be matched by any current GPU (although ATI's newest chip might be better than G80)

Μην βάζετε το χέρι στην φωτιά πριν σιγουρευτείτε για κάτι. Ναι σίγουρα γνωρίζετε ότι ο κωδικός του chip είναι R600. ΄Αλλο τίποτε δεδομένο εκτός από αυτό;
