Easter Egg - Play games in Terminal

Open Terminal > Type "emacs" > Press and hold Esc and hit letter "X" > Type "Tetris" to play Tetris, "Snake" to play Snake, "Dunnet" gia ena RPG, or "Doctor" gia psychanalisi. Exei kialla mini-games alla den ta thymame.

Υπάρχουν διάφορα easter eggs στο MacOS. Ακολουθούν μερικά:

 

Open "Terminal.app" located in the Applications > Utilities folder on your Hard Drive.

 

2. At the prompt paste the following: cat /usr/share/calendar/calendar.history

 

This is a list of significant dates in history, one for every day of the year.

Go to Finder then applications. Go to the Utilities folder and open Terminal.

When it has started up type in "emacs" (without speech marks) and press enter.

Then press x and escape together. Then type in "doctor" (again without speech marks.)

You can then begin a conversation with your own personal psychotherapist on your computer

While in Tiger (though this make work in earlier versions of OS X), type CTRL+COMMAND+OPTION+8.

Then, your video will become inverted (black is white, red cyan, blue yellow, green magenta, etc.) It is an interesting way to view everything.

1. Start System preferences

2. Click on "Sound"

3. Click on the tab "Sound effects"

 

The list shows all Mac OS system sounds. The sound "Sosumi" is just a simple beep, but it's name is a reference to Apple Computers' legal disputes with Apple Corps Ltd., The Beatles' record label. Sosumi = "So sue me".

Log in to OS X, and open Terminal. (/Applications/Utilities)

 

If a session is not open already, open one, and type "bill gates" (caps don't matter), and hit Enter or Return.

 

You will receive a rather humorous response...

 

"OK? kill gates?"

 

For some reason if you type "bill" and then any word it also works (not just with "gates")

 

You can find this other places too, but I was surprised to not find it on here...It's pretty minor, but it HAD to be intentional...I love Apple's sense of humor!

1. If the Dock has the Mail Icon, Then in dock Options, Maximize the dock size (Make it as big as possible)

2. Look carefully at the Mail Icon and enjoy.

It seems like its mail from Steve Jobs to Bill Gates, Very Funny that.

Note: If you do not have the Mail App on your dock, Search for it in the Applications folder and zoom the icon.
