Consoles Dragon Age: Origins Delayed?

 

Those that have been waiting years for Dragon Age may have to wait a few more weeks, as it's beginning to look like BioWare's latest RPG won't hit consoles in October.

 

While BioWare and studio owner Electronic Arts have yet to officially acknowledge a delay, online rental hub GameFly is now listing the Xbox 360 edition for November 3 with the PlayStation 3 release following on November 19. The change was just made this week, GameFly had previously listed the game's announced release date of October 20.

 

Meanwhile, Newegg currently expects both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions to arrive on November 4, with the PC version still slated for October 20. As with GameFly, Newegg had previously listed the console releases for October 20.

 

We've reached out to BioWare for clarification, and will update accordingly.

 

 

Update: BioWare has chimed in on the matter, telling Shacknews that it is "still targeting an October 20 release date" for Dragon Age: Origins and adding that "if the release date changes, we'll issue a press release."

Ένα RPG το μόνο που χρειάζεται για να γίνει επιτυχία είναι σοβαρό gameplay πρωτίστως και αξιοπρεπή γραφικά στη συνέχεια.

 

Αίματα, στριγκιές και marylin manson είναι μαρκετίστικες λαλακίες της ΕΑ για να προωθήσει το παιχνίδι στους gamers της νέας γενιάς οι περισσότεροι από τους οποίους ανάθεμα και αν γνωρίζουν τι είναι RPG.

 

Ξεχασες το story και την παρουσιαση + storytelling μαζι με την μουσικη και το συστημα μαχης.

Έχεις δίκιο!! Πως ξέχασα το story??? Μάλλον από την ξενέρα μου εκείνη τη μέρα.

Πάντως το φοβάμαι πολύ το game, το περίμενω χρόνια κ ελπίζω να μη με απογοητεύσει...

Dragon Age: Origins Delayed Afterall

 

First the speculation that "Dragon Age: Origins" was being delayed, then the BioWare denial, now the announcement that the game has indeed been delayed. At least it's not a huge one.

 

"Dragon Age Origins will be released on November 3rd in North America and November 6th in Europe for Xbox 360 and PC. The Playstation 3 version will follow later in November," the BioWare rep said.

απορω γιατι περιμενετε να βγει καλο το dragon's οταν ηδη ξερουμε οτι θα ειναι και console game...

Το Dragon Age σχεδιάστηκε αρχικα αποκλειστικα για PC, καπου στα 2/3 της αναπτυξης του παιχνιδιου αποφασιστηκε να βγει και για κονσολες. Η έκδοση για το PC ειναι ετοιμη εδω και μηνες και απλα η ΕΑ καθυστερεί την κυκλοφορία για να βγει ταυτοχρονα και για το XBOX. ΔΕΝ εχουν γινει αλλαγες στην PC εκδοσή που να το κανουν πιο κονσολαδικο. Dragon Age: Origins Human Noble Hands-on

We've got a first glimpse inside BioWare's long-awaited fantasy RPG.

 

BioWare has been saying for a while now that Dragon Age: Origins, its upcoming fantasy RPG, is a big game. That might explain why it's taken so long to develop; hard to believe, but Dragon Age was first announced more than five years ago. The game's title takes its name from the fact that there are six distinct prologues that you can choose from, and each can set up repercussions that echo throughout the rest of the game. Many RPGs will let you create different characters, but they all follow the same narrative more or less. In Dragon Age, the choice of prologue is just the first of many choices that will shape the experience.

 

We've been playing around with the origin stories in Dragon Age and it's kind of staggering at how complex and flexible the entire story is. The origin story you choose plays a big role, but after that there are many life and death decisions being made that affect the course of your game. It's safe to say that you could probably play the game several times and you'd have a remarkably different experience in terms of companion characters and story each time. Over the next few weeks we're going to highlight three of the origin stories, starting today with the human nobles...

There’s 40 new screens after the break. We’re pumped.

 

The epic RPG was pushed off into November last week, unfortunately, but it’s starting to look as though this could be well worth the wait.
