το tdu ομως εχει πολυ μεγαλητερο περιβαλον και κυριως αλλα αμαξια που κινουντε μαζι σου σε πολλες και διαφορετικες κατευθηνσεις...το CmcRD δεν ειναι ετσι. ειναι μια πιστα με ενα αμαξι μονο.

το tdu ομως εχει πολυ μεγαλητερο περιβαλον και κυριως αλλα αμαξια που κινουντε μαζι σου σε πολλες και διαφορετικες κατευθηνσεις...το CmcRD δεν ειναι ετσι. ειναι μια πιστα με ενα αμαξι μονο.

 

το dirt απ'οσο έχω δει, έχει και πίστες με άλλα αμάξια μαζί, θυμίζει λίγο motostorm....

There's going to be some real mucky filth on Xbox Live Marketplace on Thursday. Nope, not that kind of filth. Pervert. The download suppying the muddy fun will be Codemasters' Colin McRae Dirt, the latest instalment in the legendary rally series and the first time its been on Xbox 360. It's a huge demo too, featuring three different types of rallying to show off Dirt's varied new career mode.

 

The other week I was lucky enough to be invited by Codemasters to their development studio and headquarters near Coventry. In between soaking up the beautiful countryside scenery and getting stuck into some Dirt playtime, I had the pleasure of interviewing the game's Producer Alex Grimbley. Here's what he had to say about the demo:

 

"We think the demo is really going to wow a lot of people. Itʼll have a Super Stage crossover rally with Colin as your opponent, itʼs got buggy racing against 9 opponents which is absolute carnage and really shows off the car models, and then we have a hill climb with fantastic scenery and a Travis Pastrana time to beat. Itʼs a great little package and itʼs out on May 24."

 

The full interview is cracking and I'll be sending it out to the Xbox Community Network tomorrow, so keep an eye on your local sites.

 

You'll get plenty of opportunity to feel how Dirt plays on Thursday, but I absolutely loved it when I got the chance to get behind the wheel. The controls are that perfect Colin McRae mix of realistic handling and arcade-style slidiness, you always feel like you're on the verge of stacking it into a tree, and the sensation of speed is superb. The visuals are also ridiculously good - I reckon this is one of the best looking driving games yet seen on Xbox 360.

 

The Colin McRae Dirt demo will be available for download for all Xbox Live Gold members in Europe on Thursday at 9am GMT.
