Επιβεβαιώθηκαν οι φήμες για το Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes για το Wii. Πρόκεται για ένα fighting της Capcom και αυτό σε port από Arcades στο Wii. Φαίνεται ενδιαφέρον.

 

 

 

Έχει και ήρωες της G-Force (δηλαδή της παλιάς anime σειράς "Ομάδα Τζι" που παιζόταν παλιά στην ΕΡΤ αν δεν κάνω λάθος).

Big Nintendo Event in October

Is this the return of Megaton?

 

Nintendo has been hush-hush on any new, big Wii and Nintendo DS projects since July's Electronic Entertainment Expo, but if current rumors are to be believed, that radio silence won't be for much longer.

 

Word through various sources is that Nintendo is readying a press event in Japan for October 2nd or 3rd. While we have yet to receive confirmation of such event from our Nintendo of America sources, this rumor is strengthened by a two-day event scheduled by NOA for October 2nd and 3rd in the US.

 

No hints of what the company has planned have been revealed by NOA, but the timing of the Japanese event rumor ties in well with the Nintendo of America event. It's possible that a large-scope announcement or announcements will be made by Nintendo's Japanese branch and relayed to North American press during the scheduled event.

 

We'll have more as it breaks.

 

 

 

Monster Hunter Wii Revealed

Famitsu gets the full scoop on the Wii installment.

 

Capcom's been pretty quiet following the shocking announcement of Monster Hunter 3's platform switch from the PS3 to the Wii. Now, with more than 2.5 million sales of the recent PSP version firmly establishing the series as one of Japan's biggest, the Wii version has at long last come back into the spotlight with a huge blowout in the latest Famitsu...

 

...While Capcom isn't ready with a final release date for Monster Hunter 3, the game is far enough in development that it will be making a playable appearance at the Tokyo Game Show, which kicks off in Japan on October 9. Expect full hands-on impressions from IGN's monster hunters then.

Review: Wario Land – The Shake Dimension

 

 

 

Whatever happened to the everything-butthe-kitchen-sink approach of WarioWare Twistedʼs 200-something bonus trinkets? Shake is at its best when emulating the obnoxiousness and buffoonery of its hero. That it occasionally bows to his stupidity is an unexpected disappointment.

Kizuna awesome screenshots

 

Jaleco has more screenshots of Kizuna to show in the Famitsu magazine, this new Action-RPG for the Wii, which looks like Shadow of the Colossus, seems to have high quality graphics, especially for the Wii. The gameplay is also quite similar to the PlayStation 2 game, players will indeed have to fight against huge creatures with the Wii controller, and sometimes climbing the monsters will be necessary. The game release is scheduled for this year in Japan.

Rockstar: GTA on Wii “Didnʼt Feel Natural”

 

Grand Theft Auto is a series that has spanned many consoles and the new DS GTA title, Chinatown Wars, looks to continue that tradition. However, questions have come up about why Rockstar still hasnʼt developed a Wii GTA. Even though the console is stereotyped as the “family console”, the game would still sell millions.

 

In the most recent Nintendo Power, there was an interview of Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser and this question came up. The full question and answer:

Question: It seems like a more natural progression for the series to move to Wii rather than the DS. Is there any reason why you didnʼt take it there first?

 

Answer: It didnʼt feel natural to us, I guess. It really was that the DS felt like it had a lot of interesting challenges that would be totally different from what weʼd done in the past. The stylus and the chance to use minigames in that way was really interesting and exciting to us, and we thought we could integrate seamlessly between those two modes. And it would be the chance to make something really good on a handheld with our handheld-focused team. That was really why we went that way. We havenʼt really done any concrete, major thinking about the Wii, one way or another. Theyʼre sort of separate issues.

 

So we have an answer, but that answer is pretty lame. Still, Chinatown Wars looks very interesting and Rockstar will probably get around to developing a GTA for the Wii. Why would anyone leave that much money on the table?

Warioland: Shake It Breaks Youtube

 

 

Warioland: Shake It has put together what has to be the best use of youtube as a viral marketing tool since the Wii fit girl.

 

I bet it cost them a pretty petty to convince youtube to let them bugger up their site like this, but the effect is just brilliant. Itʼs advertising initiatives like this that get people BIG raises at the marketing company. check it out over here at youtube.
