Βασικά τόσο η Ν όσο και η Sony μας λένε ότι είναι πάγια πολιτική τους να μήν επιτρέπουν Adults Only παιχνίδια στις κονσόλες τους.

 

Άσχετο φυσικά το ότι σε όλα τα άλλα μέσα ψυχαγωγίας (μουσική, ταινίες, βιβλία κλ) το AO περιεχόμενο οργιάζει και ο οποιοσδήποτε μπορεί να έχει πρόσβαση σε αυτό.

 

Τώρα για το Manhunt 2, έπειτα από αυτές τις δηλώσεις της Ν και της Sony, η Rockstar αναγκάζεται ή να κάνει ένσταση επι της ΑΟ αξιολόγησης του τίτλου στην Αμερική ή στη τροποποίηση του παιχνιδιού ώστε να είναι λιγότερο βίαιο ή στην απόσυρση του παιχνιδιού.

 

Στις 2 πρώτες επιλογές και με το ντόρο που έγινε, η Rockstar θα x*στεί στο χρήμα πιστεύω από τις πωλήσεις του παιχνιδιού.

 

Πάντως το κακό είναι γενικό και δεν αφορά μόνο την Ν. Τα video games αποτελούν πλέον το τέλειο αποδιοπομπαίο τράγο για όλα τα κρούσματα παιδικής/νεανικής βίας.

Wii breaks Australian record

 

The Wii has sold over 100,000 units in Australia, with Nintendo claiming it has become the fast-selling console in the region.

 

The console costs AUD 399.95 (EUR 252 / GBP 169) and comes with a copy of Wii Sports, a title that Nintendo believes continues to attract non-traditional gamers to the machine.

 

 

"We are pleased that Wii has achieved this benchmark, but we are ecstatic that it attained this whilst also reaching new audiences and expanding the scope of our entire industry," commented Rose Lappin, director of sales and marketing for Nintendo.

 

"We promised that we would bring gaming to the masses. I think this is proof that we are heading in the right direction.

 

"Wii Sports is still performing very well as a primary vehicle to encourage non-gamers towards trying out the Wii experience," added Lappin.

Manhunt 2 Officially Delayed

Take-Two is taking a time-out.

 

he inevitable has happened: Take-Two just issued a statement explaining the upcoming release of the currently AO-rated Manhunt 2 has been officially suspended. Originally scheduled for a July 10 release, Take-Two is reviewing its options following the UK ban earlier this week and the death sentence cast down by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board.

 

"We continue to stand behind this ordinary game," the publisher said in a statement, according to Reuters. "We believe in freedom of creative expression, as well as responsible marketing, both of which are essential to our business of making great entertainment."

 

Not only will major retailers such as Wal-Mart refuse to carry an AO-rated game, Nintendo and Sony have said they will not allow such a game to be manufactured for their consoles.

καταρχην ειναι απο το Ngamer το review,to οποιο κυκλοφορει στα φορουμς.οποτε το "αποκλειστικο",και "πρωτοι" ειναι ατυχεστατες λεξεις.οπως και η πηγη θα προτιμουσα να ειναι η original.

Reader NDAninja has the most recent issue of Play, and inside they talk a good amount about Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. It appears they got to play it at Nintendoʼs Media Summit.

Επειδή η τελευταία πρόταση που γράφουν πιστεύω αξίζει σχολιασμού, θα μου επιτρέψεις να τα παραθέσω παρακάτω...

 

Μαύρισα αυτά που μου φαίνονται πιό ενδιαφέροντα:

 

- First level - You are attacked on a spaceship while meeting with the shipʼs captain…action packed

 

- Play feels motion controls work better than dual joystick

- Super sensitive pointer in “advanced” mode

 

- Beam stacking ala Super Metroid

 

- Visor switch: Hold minus and flick Wiimote in certain directions

 

- Boss fight with Ridley at the end of the first level. Excellent difficulty curve by the time you reach the boss.

 

- Back tracking in MP3:C makes more sense than in previous Primes

 

- Extra development time was to give the game more polish. Nintendo wanted “Twilight Princess” levels of polish. Game is focused on Metroid fans and hardcore gamers, but still accessible to newcomers due to controls.

 

- Second level - floating city focused on exploration

 

- Larger environments, bloom lighting, better textures than Prime 2

 

- Corruption Mode not available in demo

 

- Play says it could be the biggest revolution in FPS gaming since Halo.
