Thank you for contacting Logitech Technical Support (via Email). My name is Mona and I will be assisting you with your case involving your Logitech Z-5500 speakers.

 

Alex, as I understand it, there is a popping sound from your speakersʼ every time your fridge is switched on or off. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I would also like you to perform the troubleshooting steps below:

 

1. Power off the Z-5500

2. Disconnect all inputs to the Z5500 control pod (no external connections to the pod except the subwoofer)

3. Power on the Z5500

4. Set the input selection to "6 Ch Direct" (analog) on the Z5500 control pod

5. Repeatedly (10 times) switch on/off the suspected third party device pausing for 5-10 seconds in-between each switching (popping may not occur with every switch).

Hello,

 

I have purchased Z-5500 Digital Speakers about 1 month ago and I hear a "popping" sound every time the fridge is switched on or off, even if the kitchen (where the fridge is) is at the other end of my appartment (about 10 meters away from the speakers).

 

Any idea how to solve that problem?

Έκανα βέβαια ότι γράφει, αλλά καμμία αλλαγή.

Σε λίγο θα τους απαντήσω, οπότε πάλι αναμένομεν!

Θα το δοκιμασω αν και εγω εχω τα Χ-530.Εγω βεβαια τους ζητησα κατευθειαν αντικατασταση παντως χλωμο να ειναι θεμα λογισμικου κατασκευαστικο μου φαινεται το προβλημα.

I am sorry to learn that you are experiencing Popping noise when using the Logitech X-530 speakers.

 

Unfortunately, as we do not have any specific solution to resolve the popping issue with the X-530 speakers, the only option available is to return the speakers for Refund.

 

I request you to write back to me with the following details, in order to initiate the refund process:

 

1. Dealer's Name and Address, from where the Speakers were purchased.

2. Amount paid for the X-530 speakers.

3. Copy of the Purchase Receipt or Bank Statement reflecting the payment made. Please scan and attach the image/picture when replying back to this email.

4. Your Bank account details to which the refund has to be transferred:

a. Bank Account Number

b. Account Holders Name

c. Bank Name

d. Bank Address

e. Bank City and

f. IBAN Number

g. Bank - SWIFT number

 

Upon receiving your reply, I would be escalating your case to initiate the refund the process.

 

I would like to inform you that the defective X-530 Speakers will be picked up from your postal address within the coming 2 weeks. You would receive another email from us with information and instructions on the Pickup process which would totally be at the cost of Logitech and you do not have to pay any amount towards shipping. Once the speakers are picked up from your location it would take about 3 to 4 weeks for the refund to reflect in the Bank account.

 

I once again apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

παιδια δεν ειναι μονο με το ψυγειο.και γω εχω τα Ζ5500 για κανα 2 χρονια και τον τελευταιο μονο χρονο αρχισε να κανει αυτο το θορυβο πολυ εντονα με το ανοιξε κλεισε του διακοπτη της λαμπας στη κουζινα.κανει και μικρους ανεπαισθητους θορυβους και με αλλους διακοπτες αλλα κυριως με της κουζινας.το προβλημα δεν λυθηκε με σταθεροποιητη τασης

Δε νομιζω γιατι τα ηχεια που ειχα πριν δεν αντιμετωπιζαν κανενα προβλημα ουτε καν τα ενσωματωμενα του υπολογιστη ουτε και του home theater poy einai se apostash 2-3 μετρων απο το ψυγειο.Οποτε ειναι μαλλον προβλημα των συγκεκριμενων ηχειων.ΠΑντως θα προχωρησω τη διαδικασια να δω που θα παει.
