Το mp3Gain το ξέρετε;

Δεν ξέρω αν έχει ξαναειπωθεί εδώ μέσα αλλά δεν το έχω δει, κι έτσι...

Λοιπόν, όσοι ασχολείστε με mp3 (και ειδικά αν γράφετε audio cd με επιλογές από mp3) θα βρείτε πολύ χρήσιμο το προγραμματάκι mp3gain που ανακάλυψα πρόσφατα. Αυτό που κάνει είναι να εφαρμόζει ομοιόμορφη ένταση στα mp3 (κάτι σαν normalization δηλαδή), χωρίς όμως να τα μετατρέπει πρώτα σε wav, χωρίς καθόλου απώλειες στον ήχο και με μεγάλη ακρίβεια. Είναι και απολύτως δωρεάν! (και χωρίς spyware). Να και το σχετικό κείμενο:

It does not just do peak normalization, as many normalizers do. Instead, it does some statistical analysis to determine how loud the file actually sounds to the human ear.

Also, the changes MP3Gain makes are completely lossless. There is no quality lost in the change because the program adjusts the mp3 file directly, without decoding and re-encoding.
