λενε οτι βρεθηκε ο τροπος να αντισταθμισουν τα πολυ μεγαλα κοστη,

και αυτος ειναι να μετριασουν κατα πολυ την πιο σημαντικη τους λειτουργεια για τους gamers.

Big names like Square Enix president Yoichi Wada and Bandai Namco Games' vice president Shin Unozawa shared thoughts on the future of gaming.

 

 

Wada then shared his insights into online-gaming payment structures. He proposed a scenario for "volume-controlled charges," in which online games would be divided into chapters. The first chapter could be offered free for evaluation, with subsequent chapters requiring payments to continue playing. He also thinks that with the growth in "always-on" Internet connections, the "huge cost of debugging" to developers will decrease, as regular software updates will become possible. Wada suggested that, thanks to the availability of software updates, developers won't have to work so hard to find the zaniest bugs. Wada didn't use the word "patch," strictly, but if he were a native English speaker, he might have.Wada also pointed out that the software updates would make it "easy to insert advertisements into games."

 

Unozawa then weighed in with his take on the impending battle between Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii. His opinion is that this purported clash of titans will actually be anticlimatic. "There will be no power struggle," he said.

 

Unozawa offered thoughts on next generation platforms from Nintendo and Sony. Regarding the Wii, he said, "There will be many people who play with friends and family. Nintendo DS connectivity is also interesting. It will probably become the Wii's touch screen controller."

 

Unozawa did mention some potential pitfalls with the Wii. "I'm unsure about its appeal to the main users, namely middle- and high-school students." and that third parties may have a harder time making games for it when compared to Nintendo. He noted, with a laugh, "With Nintendo hardware, your biggest rival is Nintendo."

 

On the other hand, he was bullish on the PSP and PS3, which in his view fill "the demand for game hardware that can be enjoyed by individuals." Despite concerns that the PS3's price would make it prohibitively expensive, Unozawa has no fears. He asserted "the PlayStation 3 will sell, without question."

Αυτά δεν είναι αρνητικά νέα όσο και να παλεύεις μπας το κάνει να φανεί έτσι.

 

Είναι πολύ θετικά , αφού πλέον υπάρχει αυτή η δυνατότητα στο ps3 που έλειπε παλιά, και λύνει τα χέρια όλων.

Αντίθετα στο xbox360 θα μείνεις με το bug εφόσον δεν έχεις την έκδοση με hd.

Κλασικά, αντί να καταλάβουν μερικοί πως το xbox360 μένει πίσω, προσπαθούν με νύχια και με δόντια να μην δούν την πραγματικότητα.

Τα arcade stick δεν ήταν αναλογικά , ουσιαστικά παρόμοια τεχνολογία με τον σταυρό είναι.

(άσχετο, αλλά εφόσον έχεις σταθερή βάση , ήταν καλύτερα για εμένα.)

 

Μετά βγάλανε το αναλογικό stick, που ήταν ότι καλύτερο για τα gamepad, και τώρα το motion sensing που είναι σαφώς η κορυφαία τεχνολογία.

 

Το καλό με το motion sensing είναι πως δεν χρειάζεται να αντικαταστήσει τους άλλους τρόπους χειρισμού, αλλά μπορεί να υπάρχει και παράλληλα, πράγμα που νομίζω είναι εγγύηση για το ότι θα βρουν όλοι τρόπους να το αξιοποιήσουν, και έτσι δεν έχει κανένα φόβο να αποτύχει.

προσπαθησε να καταλαβεις τι δειχνει αυτο το σχεδιαγραμμα...

δες που ειναι το loop, και καταλαβε που κρυβονται τα κοστη.

μετα καλυτερα μην πεις τιποτα αλλο.

απλα σκεψου να κολλαει το FFXIII. ή να περπαταει ο χαρακτηρας στον αερα... :-?

η μειωση ποιοτικου ελεγχου ειναι καλο νεο μονο στα ονειρα σου.

ας ελπιζουμε οτι ο γιαπωνεζος δεν εννοουσε αυτο που ειπε...

Flash designer for PS3 site screws up hard

 

It looks like someone's finally gotten around to updating the U.S. site for the Playstation 3, too bad it was with a logo for Apple. If you go to the site and watch the image of the Playstation 3 when it loads you'll see the Apple logo appear for about half a second right on top of the console.

Προσπάθησε να καταλάβεις την ουσία των εννοιών "επιπλέον δυνατότητα" και "ΕΠΙΛΟΓΗ".

(Eίναι θετική, και όσο να το παλεύουμε δεν μπορούμε τις κάνουμε να φανούν άσχημα.)

 

Στο ps3 μπορούν αν θέλουν να ΕΠΙΛΕΞΟΥΝ να βγάλουν τα παιχνίδια κλασικά μετά από όλους τους ελέγχους .

Αλλά μπορούν και να επιλέξουν να εκμεταλλευτούν τις επιπλέον δυνατότητες που έχουν και να τα εκδώσουν λίγο νωρίτερα.

(Αυτό θα το κάνουν μόνο αν τους συμφέρει, και αν έχει συνολικά περισσότερα θετικά από αρνητικά.)

Ωραίο κόλπο επέλεξες για να βρίσκεις αρνητικά στο ps3 ... είναι φίσκα από extra δυνατότητες, οπότε θα έχεις τρομερή δουλειά.

θα υπάρχουν και άλλοι τρόποι ... με κανά cd - usbstick από φίλο , από περιοδικά κλπ , δεν θα πνιγούμε σε μια κουταλιά νερό.

Good Things Come in Threes, and Bad Things Too

It seems like Sony has been constantly taking criticism since E3, the price of the console, the price of the console…oh and the price of the console, and this week has been no exception.

 

First of all there had been some pretty hefty rumours going around that the UK allocation of the PS3 on launch will be just 150,000 units, with Sonyʼs own Official Playstation Magazine saying “Estimates suggest that UK stock allocation is likely to be in the region of 150,000 units, so don't expect to be able to walk into a shop and snatch one off the shelf on day one.” Sony deny these rumours though with a company representative clarifying that “We have yet to confirm allocation for the UK territory. We're on target to ship 2 million units globally at launch and 6 million units by end of fiscal year.”

 

Secondly Sony has taken a bashing because of a PSP advert which was deemed racist by people all over the internet. The advert which features a white woman grabbing a black woman by the jaw has the slogan “PlayStation Portable White is coming”. Sony hit back at uproar though saying “The marketing campaign for the launch of the White PSP in the Benelux focuses on the contrast between the Black PSP model and the new Ceramic white PSP model.”

 

And lastly Sony has been in trouble with the taxman, and has been ordered to hand 191 million Euro in taxes after the tax office accused SCE of under-reporting games business income. Sonyʼs response was pretty straight forward, “We have always made appropriate tax payments in compliance with the tax codes of countries; this notice is unsatisfactory.”

 

So, thatʼs the end of what seems to have been a hellish week for Sony. If Karma comes in to play Sony might be reporting massive profits next week, but at the moment this reporter thinks thatʼs unlikely.
