With the clock ticking, EA has a limited amount of time to fix the glaring issues which plague this port of The Orange Box. Unfortunately, it seems that, once again, PlayStation 3 owners are doomed to suffer through another substandard version of a multiplatform game.

PS3 Orange Box: the slideshow version

 

 

 

It appears that, for some reason or another, the PS3 offering of Half-Life 2: Orange Box might not be up to par with that of its PC and Xbox 360 counterparts, according to 1UP. After previewing the near final build of the game, they were met with framerate inconsistencies during the Half-Life series that made the game look more like a "slideshow" and thusly rendered it nearly unplayable.

 

However, Portal perfectly played fine, but they weren't able to play much of Team Fortress 2 because of server connection issues.

 

At this point, you're probably wondering what the deal is and why can't such a great development company like Valve get one of their shining jewels up to snuff, right? Well, one reason is probably because Valve isn't behind the PS3 port like it was for the other versions. Yeah, we're being serious. An unspecified internal EA development team is responsible for the PS3 version. With a Dec. 11 release date, we suppose there is still time for this issue to be rectified, but how many time have we, as gamers, told ourselves that in hope of getting a decent game? Probably way too many.

PS3 outsells Wii again in Japan

 

Last week, the PlayStation 3 turned heads throughout the industry when it outsold the Wii in Japan, pushing 65,000 units. It appears the the tidal wave that is the newly introduced 40GB PS3 doesn't appear to be slowing down much as it outsold Nintendo's console for the second week in a row.

 

While the total number dipped to 53,000 systems, it still outsold its foe by almost 20,000 units as the Wii only managed 36,000 sales.

 

After going through such a rough inaugural year with the PS3, it's interesting to see the turnaround Sony's managed with its console. Battling through bad press, over-priced systems and a lack of compelling games, it appears the PlayStation 3 has finally turned the corner and is now everything we expected it to be. Now, can it go for the trifecta?

οριστε ενα γιαπωνεζικο γραφημα που δειχνει τι συμβαινει τον τελευταιο καιρο..

αν το wii εχει πεσει απο τις εκατον-τοσες χιλιαδες στις τριαντα-κατι, αυτο δεν εχει να κανει με τη sony ουτε την microsoft αλλα βασικα με την nintendo.

το μονο που μενει να δουμε ειναι ποτε το wii θα παρει αναλογη πορεια και στις αλλες αγορες....

Δεν καταλαβαίνω αυτή τη σύγκριση που κάνουν.Συγκρίνουν πωλήσεις Wii με ps3:shifty:

Δε μας λες και απο που το ειδες αυτο το "γραφημα"?? Οταν το ΧΒΟΧ περναγε το wii ολοι χαιρονταν, τωρα που το περασε το PS3 φταιει η Nintendo... Αν ειναι δυνατον

Οι στατιστικές και τα "γραφήματα" είναι ο καλύτερος τρόπος να λες ψέματα γιατί απλά σου δείχνουν ένα αποτέλεσμα.Η αξία όλων των πραγμάτων φαίνεται από το πόσο αντέχουν στον χρόνο.Όταν θα πουλάει ακόμα το ps3 να δούμε που θα είναι οι άλλες κονσόλες.

Οι στατιστικές και τα "γραφήματα" είναι ο καλύτερος τρόπος να λες ψέματα γιατί απλά σου δείχνουν ένα αποτέλεσμα.Η αξία όλων των πραγμάτων φαίνεται από το πόσο αντέχουν στον χρόνο.Όταν θα πουλάει ακόμα το ps3 να δούμε που θα είναι οι άλλες κονσόλες.

Kοιτάξτε μάγκες,εχουμε δύο απλά γεγονότα :

 

A.To wii πουλούσε 120 χιλιάδες κομμάτια το πριν 3 μήνες και τώρα έχει πέσει στις 30

Β.Το ps3 πούλησε για πρώτη φορά 20.000 κομμάτια παραπάνω απο το wii,για 2 μήνες,με πτώση τιμής -100$(και την αντιστοιχία σε yen)και πρίν βγεί το mario galaxy.

 

Tώρα αν εσείς αυτο θέλετε να το ερμηνεύσετε ώς φοβερή ανατροπή,μαγκιά της sony,και φανταστικό επίτευγμα,με γειά σας,με χαρά σας.

Απλα δείχνεί πόσο πολύ χρειάζονται τα καλά νέα μερικοί.κι ας είναι πλασματικά.

foufoutie οταν λεγαμε για 360-wii και ποιος ειναι μπροστα, μιλαγαμε για παγκοσμιες πωλησεις στο συνολο του χρονου,

ενω αυτο το αρθρο τεχνιεντως αναφερεται απλα σε πωλησεις εβδομαδας στην Ιαπωνια

 

αν δεν εισαι ικανος να διακρινεις που ειναι η διαφορα, δεν σου φταιω εγω....

 

δεν αλλαξε κατι στις παγκοσμιες πωλησεις, το ps3 εξακολουθει να ειναι τελευταιο και με τεραστια διαφορα απο τους αλλους 2.
