Η Sony ανακοινωσε οτι οντως τα κουτια θα ειναι αδεια και θα πωλουνται στην γνωστη τιμη των 600 Ευρω και οτι ολο το hardware θα ειναι διαθεσιμο για αγορα στην δωρεαν online υπηρεσια της Sony.

αν είδα καλά θα υπάρχουν 2 εκδόσεις, η "premium" που λογικά θα κοστίζει όσο και τα άλλα παιχνίδια του PS3 και θα έχει κανονικά αυτοκίνητα κλπ (30 αυτοκίνητα, 2 πίστες μόνο όμως), και η classic που θα έρχεται "κενή" και λογικά (πάλι) θα κοστίζει λιγότερο. Αν βέβαια η διαφορά τιμής των 2 δεν είναι μεγάλη, θα μιλάμε σίγουρα για κοροϊδία..

PS3 Test Unit Impressions

 

Yesterday I went over to a Development Studio and got to see actual PS3 TEST Kits in action (Until now, all I've seen are the 3 foot bulky dev stations that look like Beta Max videotape players). It was so shiny and sleek (just like Darth Vader's Helmet). Low and behold the power supply was internal with minimal heat to the unit and no fan noises! (I'm not joking, the thing was freaking mute). Ah, I haven't wanted to dry hump an inanimate object for several years (don't ask, I'm not telling), but that PS3 Test unit was damn sexy.

 

On a side note, I was tempted to pull a snatch and grab but considering that I'd have to run down 5 flights of stairs and around 15 blocks to the nearest public transit hub, plus the fact I'd be a wanted felon, fired from my job, and black listed in the industry, persuaded me to just leave my grubby finger prints on it and call it a day.

About GT:HD

 

The microtransaction-focused game, Gran Turismo HD: Classic will be the online-focused entrant into the GT-series. In this game, players will (reportedly) start with no cars or courses available to them. Instead, they will need to purchase their stable of cars and courses to race on. The pricing reported in the Famitsu piece indicated that cars would cost between 50-100 yen ($0.43-$0.85) and courses between 200-500 yen ($1.71-$4.26). There are approximiately 750 cars and 50 tracks available for purchase in the GT: HD Classic. Let's do the math:

 

750 cars for $0.50-$1.00 (Sony will round-up, don't you think?)

50 tracks for $1.50-$4.50

 

A complete copy of the game will cost gamers somewhere between $426.50 and $975, and that's without factoring in whatever Sony decides to charge for the menus (since that's all you'll get with GT HD: Classic)
