Παιδες θα το ξαναπω το demo στο multirama ειναι παλια version .....το κανονικο παιχνιδι που απο το οποιο ςιναι και οι εικονες ειναι κατα πολυ ανωτερο σε ολα τα θεματα ....φραμες, γραφικα, αισθηση ταχυτητας....απλως φιδακια σςσςσςςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσςσς!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS3/PSP

220,000 Playstation 3 units are expected in Europe on launch, so claims MCV.

 

It's not even out in Europe yet, and analysts are already claiming that the games console could shortly be the focus of price cuts. Gamesindustry.biz has the low-down from Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Michael Pachter here.

 

Joystiq on the over hand also believes that price-cuts are likely for the PS3 due to a more streamlined production, but also that the PSP is over-due for a price-cut - and we should be seeing one shortly.

 

This won't come in time for the PSP/PS3 pre-order package from HMV though. HMV will allow you to jump the PS3 pre-order queue if you purchase a PSP with a 4GB memory card. Just £675 for the privilege.

The newly announced horizontal scaling within the new programmers SDK has been under attack from Bruce Dawson, a senior software design engineer for Microsoftʼs Xbox Advanced Technology Group, via the Ozymandias blog.

 

"I see no sign that the PS3 contains a chip that can do vertical scaling, and this new feature (horizontal scaling) is a poor substitute for a true hardware scaler,” said Dawson. He continued: "It is a step forward for owners of 1080i only HDTVs, once PS3 games support it, but it is nowhere near as good as the Xbox 360ʼs scaler."

 

It seems one of the latest PSP firmwares from Sony has again been hacked by the usual GTA route. 3.03 is now downgradeable to 1.50. 3.10 has also been decrypted and is ready to be cracked.

Επίσης είναι πλήγμα για τις πωλήσεις το γεγονός ότι 1μιση μήνα πρίν το launch ακούγονται φήμες για μείωση τιμής. Όσο πορωμένος και να είναι κάποιος, γιατί να τρέξει να το πάρει όταν μετά απο λίγο καιρό θα πουλιέται φθηνότερα? Κατα τη γνώμη μου η Sony ή ανακοινώνει νέες μειωμένες τιμές πριν το launch ή διαψεύδει τα σενάρια των μειώσεων. Αλλιώς είναι σαν να βάζει τρικλοποδιά στον εαυτό της, αφού θεωρεί κορόιδα όσους τρέξουν να πάρουν την κονσόλα όταν αυτή βγεί.

PS3 price cuts already being considered

 

Sony exec tells AP that re-evaluating the price of the console is one of the back-to-profit strategies the games division is considering; no indication given of timescale.

This week, Sony announced that profits had fallen some 5.3 percent over last year in the company as a whole, with the game division suffering third quarter losses of 54.2 billion yen (approx $455 million). Some had predicted that the company would be recording even greater losses--in a survey conducted by Bloomberg of five industry analysts, the median estimate was that the company would report a 50 percent loss.

 

Historically, the time period after a console's launch sees the parent company reporting a loss, a gamble that is intended to pay off when profits are recouped from software sales. Sony's senior vice president, Takao Yuhara, has told AP in an interview that the loss could in fact be more than the 200 billion yen (approx $1.6 billion) that Sony has currently forecast for the financial year ending March.

 

Many of the costs associated with the PlayStation 3's launch were higher than anticipated, including advertising promotions, and production delays forcing the company to use air rather than sea shipping.

Yuhara revealed that Sony's strategy was to have the games division breaking even by the end of the next fiscal year, March 2008. He told AP that, ''Such factors, including price cuts to some extent, are factored in'' the company's break-even plans. No date was given for when Sony would be considering making the cut, or how much it would be slashing from the current price of $599 for the 60GB model (which will be 599 euros in Europe, £425 in the UK).

 

The company has already made the unusual move of cutting the PS3's price in Japan, where the console was launched on November 11, taking the 20GB version to 49,980 yen ($429), 10,000 yen ($85) less than previously slated. However, this move appeared to backfire, as it was slammed by some analysts, and the company's shares took a tumble after the announcement.

Όλοι εκτός από την Sony που λόγω αλαζωνίας (φυσιολογική κατά τη γνώμη μου αλλά όχι αποδεχτή), ισχυριζόταν μέχρι πρόσφατα ότι to ps3 θα κάνει πάταγο ακόμα και με αυτη τη τιμή, επειδή έχει το όνομα και λόγω της τρομερής και φοβερής τεχνολογικής του υπεροχής.

 

Βέβαια θα πουλήσει η κονσόλα άμα βγουν τα παιχνίδια που να δικαιολογουν την αγορά της και ακόμα περισσότερο αν πέσει η τιμή, όμως δεν πιστεύω κανείς να περιμένει να είναι κοντά στα νούμερα που έκανε το ps2 αφού ο "απλός λαός" γλυκοκοιτάζει πλέον και τις άλλες 2 κονσόλες.

Για τις φωτογραφιες του F1 παιζει να εχει πεσει πειραγμα.

Εκτος οτι οι 3 τελευταιες ειναι απο replay που αυτο λεει πολλα το παιχνιδι δεν εχει τετοια γραφικα με τιποτα και το εχω παιξει (και οποιος θελει να το δει μια βολτα στα multirama στο mall) εκτος και αν ο τυπος εχει οθονη με 5000 ευρω και πανω.

 

 

Μην συγκρίνεις το demo με το παιχνίδι , τα γραφικά είναι απλα ανώτερα ...

Δυστυχώς αυτή η "μόδα" άρχισε να εξαπλώνεται.

 

Τώρα και το Γερμανικό Amazon απαιτεί την αγορά και ενός PSP με ένα Ridge Racer ώστε να κάνεις pre-order το PS3.

Στην αρχη υπήρχε έλλειψη, τωρα δεν πουλάει καν οπότε κόβουν τιμές παντως το πιπιλάτε συνέχια ότι τα 600e είναι πολλά αλλά δεν βλέπετε ότι απο το wii ή nintendo βγάζει 100ε κέρδος και άλλα τοσα ή microsoft αλλα η sony μπαίνει μέσα με το ps3 για να καθιεροσει το blueray.

Και να ξέρεται όταν πέφτει η τιμή πέφτει και η ποιότητα κατασκευής.

Αν παει καποιος να δει το F1 στα Multirama να δει και το ΝΒΑ 07 σε full HD πραγματικα θα παθει πλακα :) :) η μηπως ειναι και αυτο σε προιμο σταδιο spown πες σε παρακαλω τις εντυπωσεις σου απο την F1 που βρηκες ρε θηριο την τελικη εκδοση και παιζεις?
