Sony's Phil Harrison, the director of Sony Wolrdwide Studios, has declined to offer his guarantee that the PS3 will launch in Europe in March. Speaking to the Official Playstation Magazine, Harrison said: "Given that all of our previous statements about launching in Europe simultaneously with the US and Japan turned out not to be the case, I would not like to make any definitive statements on that." Oh boy, let's hope this is just a PR move, and not a real delay.

Χμμμ... οκ η MS λέει πάλι τα ίδια περι Linux vs Windows

Τεσπα, εγω να τους πιστέψω .... αλλα τα ιδια λενε και για το Linux as a web platform ... αλλα τα περισσότερα websites σε apache παιζουν.

 

Ο χρόνος θα δείξει...

 

Για την ώρα εμένα μου αρκεί οτι και για τισ δύο νεες πλατφορμες μπορεί κάποιος να αναπτύξει εφαρμογές πολύ πιο έυκολα από ότι στο παρελθον.

PS3 Firmware Version v1.31 was released today, including updates to the Backwards Compatability system, as well as Playstation 2 Hard Disk Drive support for select games. The Playstation 2 System Files are downloaded from the official Playstation store, and installed onto the PS3. The official changelog will be posted shortly, as well as list of compatable hard drive games, mainly Final Fantasy XI, however if this is a Japan only update, it will leave North American users wanting!
