Υπαρχει γενικα μια συγχυση μεταξυ της οικιακης δικτυακης καταστασης του καθενος και της πιο οργανωμενης (πανεπιστημιακης, εταιρικης κ.α).

 

Password cracker για router? Τι router θα ειναι? US Robotics?Μπαα....

Cisco? Ναι Cisco. Password cracker για web interface του Cisco?

Αμφιβαλω αν θα φτασεις καν στο να σου ζητησει password ειτε απο http ειτε απο telnet (Δυστυχως στα ρημαδια μπορεις και δηλωνεις Ip's για management)

Και το configuration να παρεις αν ειναι type 5 password δεν θα μπορεσεις να το κανεις decrypt.

 

Boot CD, firewall στον server, logs.....

Ολα αυτα προυποθετουν να εχεις φυσικη προσβαση στον server.Ποια η πιθανοτητα να εχεις φυσικη προσβαση?

Αντε και εχεις....

Bootaρεις με boot cd (knoppix, auditor?) και στον Server εχεις ISA.Τι κανεις?

Το προβλημα εδω δεν ειναι η φυσικη προσβαση αλλα τα permissions

It's amazing how much peopkle misuses the internet ocnnection of their school or work !!

they are always solution and personnaly i'm against P2P and P2P will die soon !! in France we have the DAVDSI law and the rest of europe will follow !!! finally, the real scene will be in peace and no more disturbed by P2P misused...

Propably the companies want to belive that, but i do not think that will happen.Web is a meaning of connection, like speach,nobody can stop me from sharing a personal file over the net to some friends,so the most like think that is gonna happen is that the "controll" over the internet will be judged like anti constitutional.

 

Even if the law is passed to our constitution there will never be limitation on wireless lans that in our country are huge, that law will prolly make them even bigger and send some ISPs to hell since p2p is the main reason why 30-50% of the Internet users have DSL in thier home,nobody needs 1mbit to surf over web pages.

 

Oh, and btw there is a new feature in msn 8beta that enables file publication to your contacts.

i agree with you itstoasted. But surfing is not the same as P2P !!

i agree that P2P has interesting sides for new unknown artists for example ! ! but actually, 95% of the P2P is used for w a r ee z !

i can agree that people shares their own releaze BUT I COMPLETELY DISAGREE when noobs, people are sharing Scenes releazes through P2P !! that's why they are more and more busts lately..... because idiots download the releazes and then they sell it in order to make money !! it's completely at the opposite side of the mentality....

 

conclusion : most of the countries will block the P2P networks and the Scene will have a new health..

 

PS : i never used and i will never use P2P !! here in north europe, they are more and more tracking downloaders ! they have then to pay a max of 300.000 euros with 2 years jail !!

You are have a point there, but do not forget that p2p in greece is a very helpful way of taking reveange on companies that think that the average greek gets 1500e/month.So, i doubt that those companies' market analists have finished highschool, since they cannot see that cds and movies are way expensive for the greek market.

 

Nobody and i mean nobody preferes to have copies,bootlegs, camcoded cracked and other material of lower quality than the best.And ofc they would prefere to go buy them original, but the prices are way overrated.

 

And i belive that, lets say for example a game, has its price reduced about 50%, the rise in the sales, i can estimate that they will be over 50% and make an extra profit.

 

And to sum up, movie companies have started to cooperate with torrent networks so as to use them as a very helpful way of distibuting material over the net at much lower prices since there will not be the need so maintain server and pay a huge bw.
