Μου θυμίζουν λίγο από Orca fighters από C&C / C&C 2. ;)

Να δω τι βόμβες θα ρίχνουν για να σε πετυχαίνω εγώ. :-P

 

Κατα τ'άλλα όπως είδα, recon θα είναι snipers και ΣΙΑ. Θα έχουμε cloaked campers? :-P

Μια ακουω για Cloacked Special Forces και μια για Cloacked Scouts οποτε θα πρεπει να περιμενουμε το Game για να δουμε τι θα ισχυει...

( Ασε που την μια ακουω πως με Cloack δεν θα μπορει να βαρεσει ο παιχτης και απο την αλλη πως θα εχει λιγο χρονο το Cloack. )

Οσο για τα πετουμενα ειναι οντως βασισμενα πανω στα Orca του C&C.

-Menu issues no more. Completely different take. Friends list added. Menu refresh times now a re fast. (Hooray lol)

 

-No lasers. No aliens etc. despite being set in the future. Will feel like a BF game.

-Guns like other BF games.

 

-Two main factions. Although guns seem to have EU etc. mentioned. Suggessting more armies?

 

-4 main classes although they can branch into two roles each. Recon = Spec Ops and Snipers for example.

 

-RPG elements to class system. Tweak to your liking?

 

-Commander mode has been expanded. New features to be shown at e3.

 

-Squad leaders no longer a spawn point. Instead Squad leaders can use a beacon for spawning. Placement plays a large part. Can be destroyed.

 

-Mechs are very strong and dangerous. All purpose vehicle(air, land etc.)

 

-All other types of vehicle are back.

 

-EMP quite effective. Slow down vehicles and scramble vision. Multiple EMP will stop the vehicle and blind it.

 

-Chaser Anti Tank mines will hover when a vehicle comes close and chase the vehicle. Only fast vehicles can outrun them and even lead into other targets.

 

-Recon can cloak but not fire when cloaked. Star Trek style. Not really invisible and shadow always visible.

 

-Assault grenade launcher will only when detonate on live targets otherwise it turn into a proximity mine.

 

-No parachutes but there will be a replacement.

 

-Physics improved. A Mech can be knocked of its legs.

 

-Ideas from BF2 SF may or may not make it in like zip line, grappling hook, nightvision etc. not decided.

 

-COOP mode to play with your friends against AI.

 

-EMP grenades etc. lay big part in the game.

 

-Support class(engineers and Medics) Engineer get extra firepower with a robot hovering with them. But makes it tougher to sneak up etc.

 

-Still many changes being made. APC guns for example.

 

-All new game mode to be announced at e3. COOP against AI is another new mode.

It's official: "Battlefield 2142" is coming

 

Fight an all-out war for survival in the year 2142. Electronic Arts and Sweden-based developer, Digital Illusions, today announced development of the next installment in the award-winning Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 2142. The highly anticipated first-person shooter is scheduled to ship worldwide this winter for the PC.

The year is 2142, and the dawn of a new Ice age has thrown the world into a panic. The math is simple and brutal: The soil not covered by ice can only feed a fraction of the Earth's population. Some will live, most will die. In Battlefield 2142, players will choose to fight for one of two military superpowers in an epic battle for survival, the European Union or the newly formed Pan Asian Coalition.

 

Armed with a devastating arsenal of hi-tech assault rifles, cloaking devices and sentry guns, players will also do battle using some of the most imposing vehicles known to man. Massive battle Mechs wage fierce combat on the ground, while futuristic aircraft rule the skies. When facing one of these new behemoths, players will need to use their wits and an arsenal of new countermeasures like EMP grenades to level the playing field.

 

"Battlefield has long been synonymous with innovative, best-of-breed online multiplayer action," said Sean Decker, Executive Producer, DICE. "By stepping into the future with Battlefield 2142, the team at DICE has reinvented the rules of engagement for the next century."

 

Team play features allow up to 64 players to enter the action on the front lines as part of a formal squad, or work behind the scenes in Commander Mode to direct the strategic assaults of their teammates. With in-game success, players increase their rank and unlock awards, including new weapons, medals and more, delivering the most comprehensive and flexible persistence in the Battlefield universe to date.
