Στα Vista που το είδα πάντως, δείχνει πια αρκετά την ηλικία του σε σχέση με άλλα παιχνίδια. Θα το τερματίσω για το story (δεν το είχα σε x-box), αλλά μετά δεν με βλέπω να το ξαναπιάνω.

Βγήκε το Halo2 XP Patch

Installation Instructions:

1) Extract the archive.

2) Insert the Halo 2 DVD

3) Run Startup.exe on the Halo 2 DVD using the included Loader.exe

Ie.: Loader.exe D:\Startup.exe

4) Install the game.

5) Install XLiveRedist1.0.6027.msi and vcredist.msi from the \redists dir on the Halo 2 DVD.

6) Copy the following files into the directory you installed Halo 2:

dwmapi.dll, mf.dll, MFPlat.dll

7) Finished. To play the game, run halo2.exe using the included Loader.exe

Ie.: Loader.exe "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo 2\halo2.exe"

 

 

Notes:

You need to be logged in with an administrator account for Loader.exe to work, since it uses privileged API's.

Currently the code for playing the intro and credits movies is unimplemented,

so if you want to see them you'll have to play them yourself (they're located in \movie).

I haven't tested the online functionality of the game, it will probably need more attention.

Καλη φαση..Θα το δοκιμασω και στα XP να δω διαφορες σε επιδοσεις εαν υπαρχουν..

 

Εχω πορωθει ασχημα παντως, το παιζω συνεχεια.. Δεν το κρυβω ειμαι μεγαλος Halo fan..

Σας παίζει ΟΚ το XP-patch με το release Repack-Razor1911?

Γιατί σε εμένα ζητάει activation αφού τελειώσω το 1ο level :s

 

OK δεν με αφήνει να το κάνω και uninstall...sweet!

Παίδες εγώ όταν πάω να τρέξω το startup μου λέει:"Το σημείο εισαγωγής CreateProcessWithTokenW της διαδικασίας δεν ήταν δυνατό να εντοπιστεί στη βιβλιοθήκη δυναμικής σύνδεσης ADVAPI32.dll" Τί θέλει να πει ο ποιητής;;

Γιατί πας να το τρέξεις έτσι "χύμα" στα XP.

Τεσπά για το θέμα uninstall, system restore και όλα ok

What you need to do:

 

1) Extract the archives to 2 seperate folders.

 

2) Insert the Halo 2 DVD

 

3) Using COMMAND PROMPT, run startup.exe on the Halo 2 DVD using the included Loader.exe, ie.: Loader.exe D:\Startup.exe

 

4) Install the game.

 

6) Copy the mf.dll from Halo.2.XP.Patch-No Grp and put it in your System32 Folder, then copy dwmapi.dll, Loader.exe, MFPlat.dll, Wow.dll and XTaskDlg.dll to your Halo 2 installation Folder.

 

7) From the Halo.2.REPACK.CRAC KONLY-RAZOR1911 take the MF.DLL and put it in your Halo 2 Installation folder, the STARTUP.EXE that is in this pack is USELESS

 

FOR THE XP CRACK AND WILL MAKE THE GAME CRASH ON WINDOWS XP.

 

8 ) You are now finished, To play the game make a shortcut on your desktop with this as the target:

 

 

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo 2\Loader.exe" "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo 2\Halo2.exe"

Windows XP

1600x1200 + High Detail + 4xFSAA + 16xAF

To εγκατέστησα κι εγώ σε ΧΡ και δουλεύει μια χαρά. Με 1950ΧΤ σε Athlon 4200+ παίζω μια χαρά σε 1920x1200 με detail στο high. Από ότι είδα και για το shadowrun, άλλο ένα από τα παιχνίδια που "δουλεύει μόνο σε Vista", πρέπει να έχει γίνει πλέον συμβατό με ΧΡ

Θέλω να δω τι σκοπεύει να κάνει η Microsoft και τι κράξιμο έχει να πέσει σε περιοδικά και site για το θέμα αυτό. Θύμάστε παλιότερα όταν είχαν πρωτοβγεί τα Windows 95 που αρχικά δεν έτρεχαν στο αντίπαλο DR Dos απλά και μόνο γιατί έκανε έναν απλό έλεγχο στην αρχή και έβγαζε ένα μήνυμα λάθους. Είχαν πέσει μηνύσεις τότε για μονοπωλειακή συμπεριφορά και η Microsoft είχε αναγκαστεί να βγάλει Patch. Για να δούμε τώρα τι θα γίνει...

Τα γραφικά μoιάζουν για game 2004-2005 παρά για 2007. Θα έπρεπε να κάνουν καλύτερο port. Aπογοήτευση.
