Η διαφορά Home-Pro είναι 70 περίπου ευρά (70-140)

Αν τελικα δεν έχουν ενσωματωμένο το SP2, (που μάλλον θα το έχουν), ζήτα απο το κατάστημα το επιπλεον CD με το SP2 , είναι δωρεάν. Ακόμη αυτό στο δίνει και η αντιπροσωπια της MS (επισης δωρεαν).

Μην πάρεις XP Home γιατί κάπου άκουσα ότι η Microsoft θα σταματήσει στο τέλος του 2006 την υποστήριξη του λειτουργικού Home.Δεν θα βγάζει security updates.Το διάβασα στο forum του PC Magazine.Πάρε την Microsoft Hellas να σου πουν,γιατί ακριβώς δεν ξέρω.Διάβασε και το άρθρο στο παρακάτω link(εγώ δεν το έχω διαβάσει,δεν ξέρω τι λέει,αλλά είναι κάτι σχετικό με αυτό που σου λέω):

"For consumer products, security updates will be available through the end of the mainstream phase. For Windows XP Home Edition, there will be no security updates after 12/31/06." Regarding paid support for problems unrelated to security patches, I was told that "Users who want to continue to receive support after the Microsoft assisted and paid support offerings have ended may visit the Retired Product Support Options Web site."

Aυτό το thread είναι παλιό, και το βρήκα μέσω Google.

 

Επειδή, όμως, η πηγή αυτή ενημερώθηκε και δεν είναι πια έτσι τα πράγματα, θεώρησα ότι πρέπει να ενημερώσω.
