Έχουν ήδη τελειώσει την ηχογράφηση.Τώρα είναι στο στάδιο της επεξεργασίας.

Αναμένεται να βγεί εκεί γύρω στον Απρίλιο.

Παιδιά είδαμε GnR το 93 και Metallica 2 φορές! Γιατί όχι και Chili Peppers? Oι οποίοι έχουν παίξει στο Ελσίνκι και σε άλλες λιγότερο εμπορικές πόλεις από την Αθήνα. Εγώ πάντως θα τους δώ τους Peppers. Είτε εδώ είτε έξω.

Stadium Arcadium is the Red Hot Chili Peppers' long-awaited ninth studio album. This was confirmed by Flea backstage during Spike TV's Video Game Awards in late December 2005. It has also been confirmed by the Red Hot Chili Peppers mailing list Christmas Card, and is due for release in the spring. It was rumored to be out in 2005 but the release date will be 9th May, 2006 in North America (see 2006 in music) according to the Warner Music Group.

 

According to a recent interview with the frontman Anthony Kiedis in music magazine NME, 'Stadium Arcadium' was originally scheduled to be a trilogy of albums each released six months apart (alà System of a Down's "Mezmerize/Hypnotize", but with one more album), but was condensed into one 24 track double album so that the music could be heard quicker. Kiedis announced the first single to be a track titled Dani California (where "Dani" is the same character from their last debut single, 'By the Way' and was the unnamed "pregnant teenage girl" in the modern rock sing "Californication". "Dani", according to Kiedis, is a reprentation of every girl that he's come across in his life).

 

Kiedis later spoke to MTV News about the album, saying that it has "retardedly painful funk" and some songs that are just "straightout dirty funk". He also alluded to the fact that the Peppers' more melodical sounds as heard on Californication (1999) and By The Way (2002) will be present as well on the album.

 

As for the 13 tracks left off of the original 38 track triology, Kiedis has noted that there are plans to release them as bonus tracks on albums distributed to the numerous store chains.
