Telltale Games is releasing the first season of Sam & Max on Xbox Live Arcade on June 17 as Sam & Max Save the World.

The six-episode collection of Sam & Max’s 2006/2007 adventures features Achievements, tweaked gameplay controls and HD graphic support. The compilation used to be called Sam & Max: Season One, but I guess “Save the World” sounds better. The actual saving of said world in these six episodes occurs I think in the last episode, Bright Side of the Moon.

 

Now’s a good chance to check out the games if you haven’t had a chance already. The XBLA game goes for 1600 Microsoft points and for a limited time, the PC version of Save the World is going for $US19.95 on Telltale’s online store.

Mirror's Edge 2 Confirmed!!!

αποκάλυψε οτι η εταιρία ήδη δουλεύει σε νέο Mirror's Edge game .Δήλωσε :

 

"Θα δείτε σίγουρα ενα νέο Mirror's Edge game.Eίναι απλά θέμα χρόνου το πότε θα κυκλοφορήσει...

Ήδη μια μικρή ομάδα δουλεύει πάνω σε αυτό"

 

Ευχάριστα νέα γιατι πρόκειται για ενα "φρέσκο" και πρωτότυπο franchise , το οποίο αν και εντυπωσίασε τον Τύπο,

δεν κατάφερε να κάνει τις πωλήσεις που ανέμενε η DICE (developer) και πούλησε μόνο 1 εκατ. κομμάτια,

λόγω κυρίως του ότι κυκλοφόρησε σε μια περίοδο οπου εμφανίστηκαν πολλά και δυνατά games (Νοέμβριος).

 

Crysis 2 : The best !?!

Σε συνέντευξη που έδωσε ο Cevat Yerli (boss της Crytek) αποκάλυψε πως ο λόγος για τον οποίο άργησε να παρουσιαστει

ενα Crysis game για τις κονσόλες είναι πως η εταιρία λόγω του ότι το game θα συγκριθεί άμεσα με τα καλύτερα fps ,

ήθελε να εξαλείψει τον ανταγωνισμό κ να κάνει το game το καλύτερο!

 

Όπως δήλωσε μάλιστα , το game θα είναι όντως το καλύτερο απο όλα τα fps

μιας κ η εταιρία κατάφερε να βγάλει το 100% των δυνατοτήτων των 360 κ PS3...

Και απο gameplay ?

 

Metal Gear Solid : Rising

Σε πρόσφατο podcast o Sean Eyestone (writer του MGS 4 , κ νύν μέλος της Kojima Productions) δήλωσε πως το νέο MGS : Rising

δεν θα βασιστεί στη μηχανή γραφικών του προηγούμενου αλλα θα χρησιμοποιεί νέα, η οποία φτιάχνεται απο την αρχή.

Υποσχέθηκε επίσης πως τα γραφικά του θα είναι ανώτερα απο αυτά του 4.

Διαβεβαίωσε μάλιστα οτι σε όλα τα platforms θα δούμε το καλύτερο δυνατό αποτέλεσμα !

Majesco has told Eurogamer that Serious Sam will return this summer on Xbox Live Arcade.

 

Late summer, specifically, for 1200 Microsoft Points (GBP 10.20 / EUR 14.40).

 

Dubbed Serious Sam HD, the game will re-imagine The First Encounter, and be created by original developer Croteam.

 

The chaotic first-person shooter, where enemies spawn and overwhelm from every angle, will return with online co-op for four friends. The surreal Egyptian setting will be spread across 12 levels, and we're promised dazzling, revamped visuals.

 

The charm of Serious Sam, which first appeared on PC in 2001, forms around controlling the swarms of baddies that are triggered when collecting ammo or reaching a new areas. There are bulls that charge, headless baddies that blow-up, ranged attackers, skeletal horse monsters and enormous bosses.

 

Sam's arsenal is as over-the-top as the situation, but deciding what to use and what to kill while dodging and scrapping is another matter. It's brilliant.
