You've only got to look at the sheer variety of custom car designs created by the Xbox Live community to see how committed its fans are, and the racing's just as good as the tweaking.

xrest Δημοσ. 24 Δεκεμβρίου 2007 Δημοσ. 24 Δεκεμβρίου 2007 Rare: Banjo franchise possible on Xbox Live Arcade Now hereʼs definitely an interesting rumor for you to sip your morning coffee on. With so many gamers crying out for the Banjo franchise on the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console, some gamers are now starting to cry out for the Banjo franchise on the Xbox Live Arcade. In the last edition of the Rare Scribes (where gamers send in questions to Rare and they provide answers), one question asks Rare of the possibility of Banjo on the Xbox Live Arcade: Iʼm absolutely SICK of people asking for Banjo-Kazooie on Virtual Console. Why the hell hasnʼt anyone thought of Banjo on Xbox Live Arcade!? But I ask you, is it even possible to release Banjo-Kazooie on the Arcade? I donʼt see why not, I mean you own the franchise, not Nintendo. You would just have to remove any and all references to Nintendo, which would probably be a pain in the – how you Brits say – “arse.” But wouldnʼt that be cool? Maybe release Banjo-Tooie along with it and call the whole thing Banjo-Kazooie-Tooie.

xrest Δημοσ. 25 Δεκεμβρίου 2007 Δημοσ. 25 Δεκεμβρίου 2007 Microsoft allowed to ban Xbox 360 consoles which have fan modifications According to one source, it is perfectly fine for Microsoft to ban you if you have a fan mod on your Xbox 360. A user of '360patches' was reportedly told directly from MS reps that his fan modification on the Xbox 360 is in violation of the terms of agreement so therefore MS can legally ban users from live for that very reason. His 12v fan mod wouldn't too hard to detect as voltage metering is something which should be easily detectable though bios settings. Quote from Microsoft Xbox Live TOS "The Service may only be accessed with an original Xbox or Xbox 360 console or by logging into your account via Xbox.com.? If you are accessing the Service via an original Xbox or Xbox 360 console, you agree that? you are using authorized software and hardware, and that your software and hardware have not been modified in any unauthorized way" You may be thinking well why is he quoting this?? Well because Microsoft have started banning xbox 360's with modded cooling. So if you've done the 12v mod your in risk of being banned for it.... How do I know this?? Because a friend of mine just had a nice chat with Microsoft About why he was banned and they explained it was because he had non-stock/modded fans. Yes Microsoft Seem's to be going ban bad, Merry Xmas to you to Microsoft.

All fans of graphically impressive titles were indeed spoiled this year. But, what comes to Crysis, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Bioshock and Co after 2007, was that already the end of the flag bar, or will 2008 bring a whole new generation of gameplay, which will be bordering reality."
xrest Δημοσ. 27 Δεκεμβρίου 2007 Δημοσ. 27 Δεκεμβρίου 2007 Microsoft Plans Motion Sensing Controller Motion Sensing technology RumorIf what weʼre hearing out of Saratoga, California is true, Xbox 360 owners can expect to be playing motion sensing games, much like that of the Wii or PS3, by the end of next year. The details are still sketchy, but it appears a first-party add-on to existing controllers may be the delivery method of the technology. More after the jump: Hardcore gamers have known for sometime that itʼs not too difficult to add motion-sensing functionality to the 360. With homebrew add-ons being worked on for the last year or so like the Xilt mod , it seemed only a matter of time before MS decided to release their own peripheral. It appears Microsoft has contracted the Saratoga, California firm, Gyration to handle the peripheral. If that name sounds familiar, itʼs for good reason. Gyration is the company responsible for the prototype designs of the Nintendo Wii-mote, which we all know has become a huge success. Most recently, the company was in the spotlight for creating a motion-sensing remote for Microsoftʼs Media Center. While details are still a bit thin on when “exactly” weʼll see this technology, weʼre still excited at the prospect of new interactivity with our Xbox 360 games. There's also no word on whether or not the new add-on will incorporate the motion-sensing technology that MS successfully patented last year.
xrest Δημοσ. 27 Δεκεμβρίου 2007 Δημοσ. 27 Δεκεμβρίου 2007 Halo Wars Dev: "I think we've got magic in the disc" In a recent interview about the progress of Halo Wars - the real-time strategy game based on Bungieʼs Halo universe and developed by Ensemble Studios - Graeme Devine, the lead designer on the game, said people just canʼt stop playing it. When asked why he thinks Halo Wars will be one of the biggest games of 2008, Devine said: “I think weʼve got magic in the disc. Weʼve worked on the controls, gameplay, and story for this game being very much aware of what has gone before us. I was down in playtest yesterday and actually did not get to sit down and play because folks were spending their lunches playing the game. I know weʼre doing well when that happens. More than that, I believe we will be huge not just because I believe, but because when we put the controller in your hands, you will believe too.”
