Ninety-Nine Nights Dated in Japan

Q Entertainment's next generation title lands overseas in April

 

 

Q Entertainment's debut Xbox 360 title at last has a final release date in Japan. Set to be published by Microsoft Game Studios, Ninety-Nine Nights, aka N3, will be released to Japanese retail on 4/20, Microsoft announced today. The game will carry a price tag of 6,800 yen (plus tax).

 

 

N3 is one of the 360's most anticipated games in Japan. Develped by Tetsuya Mizuguchi's development studio, Q Entertainment, in cooperation with Korean developer Phantagram, the game was originally set for January release before being pushed back late last year to Spring.

Microsoft America has yet to announce final details on N3's US release, but once we hear something, we'll be sure and pass it on to you.

Call of Duty 2 patch does not address multiplayer issues

 

Activision has released a Call of Duty 2 patch addressing the save game file corruption in the single-player campaign—a bug that has threatened the sanity of numerous gamers. To be clear, the patch does not pertain to the game's online multiplayer. However, according to Activision, "The team is continuing to work on additional updates..." Keep your fingers crossed.

Datel to release portable 4GB HDD for Xbox 360

 

 

Datel, makers of the 4GB PSP HDD, have announced a similar peripheral for the Xbox 360. The portable 4GB hard drive, which powers directly from the 360, connects via USB 2.0 and features a glowing green power button. The device is essentially a Flash drive, and while similar products can be modified for use with the 360, Datel's offering weighs a mere 4 ounces. The 4GB HDD should retail for about $130.
