Ninja Gaiden 2 - Confirmed for X360

 

It has been confirmed by Gamespot Korea that, Ninja Gaiden 2, the sequel to one of the most acclaimed titles on the original Xbox, will be publicly shown to the world for the first time at this years Tokyo Game Show.

 

This was confirmed by an insider in the Japanese gaming industry. According to the insider, the PS3 version of the game has not been confirmed at the moment, but the game will in fact be shown for the Xbox 360 system. He further states that, the game will be shown on the Xbox platform at TGS, because of the relationship with Microsoft and the developers.

 

However, there is a possibility that, the game will first be released for the Xbox 360 with a PS3 version following shortly. The industry insider also states that, this game is important to Microsoft because, it has potential to increase console sales in Japan.

Halo3 99.9% Done

 

Development on Halo 3 is winding down. While thereʼs still a considerable amount of dudes here on site, playing through the game, testing the game, filing bugs and fixing bugs, the game is roughly 99.9% complete. That last .1% percent is pretty important, however. Right now, some testing is being done in a controlled retail environment via our Halo 3 Epsilon. Youʼve probably seen reports online or even folks on your friendsʼ list playing it, so hereʼs the scoop:

Xbox 360 Elite will carry an estimated retail price of ?449.99/£299.99 when it launches in Europe this Friday, 24th August. It comes with a massive 120GB hard drive, enabling consumers to store huge quantities of content downloaded from Xbox Live Marketplace as well as their own music. The inclusion of a high-definition multimedia interface port (HDMI) is designed for the expanding groups of consumers with HD TVs and HDMI – it offers an alternative method for getting the incredible high-definition gaming and entertainment experiences that Xbox 360 has pioneered.
