Το παιχνίδι υποφέρει από το πρόβλημα των τετραγωνισμένων σκιών (πράγμα που παρατηρείται σε όλα τα παιχνίδια πλέον του Χ360) καθώς επίσης κι από το ελεεινά χαμηλό framerate,ενώ εμφανέστατο είναι και το aliasing σε κάποια σημεία. Αν καταφέρουν να το έχουν να τρέχει με κομπλέ framerate τότε θα είναι για πολύ λιώσιμο το παιχνίδι. Αν όμως έχει το ίδιο χαμηλότατο framerate με το video τότε παναγία μου,μακρία από μένα (τα ματάκια μου τα θέλω ). Την ίδια τύχη είχε και το Bulletwitch για μένα,ένα ενδιαφέρον παιχνίδι με πολύ καλά γραφικά αλλά με τραγελαφικό framerate το οποίο σου δημιουργεί πονοκεφάλους.

polakis21 Δημοσ. 19 Μαρτίου 2007 Δημοσ. 19 Μαρτίου 2007 Έπαιξα κι εγώ το demo VT3 και έχω να πω ότι σαφώς κι έχει καλύτερα γραφικά από το τοπ σπιν 2 και ήχο και replay και τα παιδάκια μαζεύουν τις μπάλες και animation ωραίο στα ρούχα.Αλλά το gameplay θα το χαρακτήριχα κλασικό arcade VT.Δεν κάνεις άσσο με τίποτα, το slice είναι σχεδόν άχρηστο, μόνο με flat χτυπήματα παίρνεις πόντους, η λόμπα επίσης άχρηστη γιατί πάντα σχεδόν το ΑΙ σου κάνει καρφί (smash volley) και γενικά είναι πιο ψευτικο από top spin 2, το οποίο όμως και αυτό έχει πολλά λάθη στο gameplay.Ίσως ένας συνδυασμός VT - Top spin θα ήταν ιδανικός.Παλιά έιχαμε λιώσει τα VT αλλά μετά πήγαμε προς τον ρεαλισμό με τα top spin και πάλι τώρα πίσω στα μπαμ μπουμ του VT.Δύσκολη στροφή αυτή.Και σας μιλάω γιατί και ξέρω τέννις ως Γυμναστής και γιατί έχω λιώσει όλα τα τεννις παιχνίδια. Πάντως εγώ θα το παίξω το VT3 όπως κι αν έχει... Βάλτε και κανένα out στο VT3 ρε παιδιά!Έλεος!Όλες τέλειες μπαλιές...

Bungie's Frank O'Connor has apologised for the $129.99 price tag on the Legendary Edition of Halo 3 but reckons "hardcore collectors will be pleased with the end result". Last Friday, Microsoft announced firm details for the super duper version of this year's biggest 360 game, which comes with two behind-the-scenes discs and is packaged in a snazzy replica Spartan helmet. Originally the Legendary Edition was set to retail at $99.99 and many have already pre-ordered at that price. Speaking on Bungie's official website, O'Connor conceded the new, higher price was unlikely to alter, despite the usual 'subject to change' caveat from Microsoft. "It's fair to say that these things usually don't change. So apologies for that," he said. He went on to claim that nobody was forcing the price on Halo fans and that fans could always "buy the regular or Limited Edition and forego the thrill of [their] very own Spartan helmet" if they want. O'Connor also noted that Bungie staffers have been placing their own orders for the Legendary Edition from retailers because it is so limited - each one is individually numbered - and they're "simply not guaranteed to get one".

Speaking with Mistwalker's Hironobu Sakaguchi at GDC, GameSpot got the developer to talk about a variety of different topics: Japanese feedback to Blue Dragon, the localization process and when they're expecting to release a demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace. When asked about when we, American gamers, could test drive the game, Sakaguchi answered, "we are making a playable demo -- maybe for June or July." While Xbox Live has had its fair share of certification issues, Arcade certainly has been rocking the past couple of weeks. Hopefully, since Microsoft is publishing this one, this won't be an issue.

Even EGM admitted Halo 3 didn't exactly blow their minds visually in their cover story, but Bungie's remained adamant that gamers shouldn't judge what they've seen, especially in terms of what they'll find in the more focused campaign mode. While everyone patiently waits to see Bungie live up to their word, content manager Frank O'Connor continues teases us with a hands-on experience with a more complete stage: "Lit, shader effects, proper detail, atmospherics, audio, everything. The exteriors still needed some polish, but sweet crimeny Christmas. It looked amazing. Last week I talked about how we were adding all this hyper realistic stuff, while still trying to keep it true to the look and feel of Halo. The evolution of those ideas is that some of the test screenshots we took for an internal presentation, looked exactly like their concept paintings. Not just in terms of scale or detail, but the actual color palette. It's rich and vivid and full of life. As a matter of fact, we ran the screens back to back with concept paintings, and sometimes you had to blink to distinguish. Don't get me wrong, the graphics have a painterly quality, sure, but this is more to do with the impression [his emphasis] they leave you than the details. A game's a game's a game. We're not going cel shaded or oil painting-y." But, even Frankie admits there's still optimization to be done with the game, and that's probably part of the reason the single-player remains under wraps. Considering Sony's already aligned Killzone as their de facto unveiling at E3 in July, we'd fully expect Microsoft and Bungie will have all guns blazing then, too.

Bioware's response to the 1up preview at GDC We're actually pretty proud of the eyes in Mass Effect, so I think it was just a mistake or something. If there was anything wrong with them, it would have had to be specific to that build (minor problems do arise from time to time). As far as the frame rate and such "minor quibbles", what the folks at GDC saw was a build of the game. It wasn't some special build made to show off progress or hype up a particular feature. It was what gets made daily around here. Sometimes the builds work great, sometimes they have a few small flaws, sometimes they explode like supernovas sending the team into hysterics trying to fix it. These things happen. Generally the game gets better and better with each passing build (barring Nova-type builds, but these get fixed darned fast). The game is not optimized yet (as mentioned). It will still get multiple layers of polish and optimization before you fans get your hands on it. Personally, I'm really pleased that the only thing 1Up could find to complain about was stuff that I know will be fixed before we ship the game.
