Όσο για την 360 έκδοση του WE:PES 2007, απ'ότι κατάλαβα είναι ακριβώς ίδια με του PES6. Δηλαδή δεν έχει ούτε καν edit. Έχω την εντύπωση ότι ούτε το ζήτημα με τα replay saves λύθηκε, οπότε δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί να το πάρει κάποιος που έχει ήδη αγοράσει το PES6. Μία από τα ίδια...

Achievement Rewards Unveiled

Increase your gamerscore for fabulous prizes.

 

Last week we reported on rumors that Microsoft was starting an incentive program that would reward gamers with physical merchandise for their Xbox 360 Achievements. Today Microsoft confirmed this program and disclosed the spicy details.

 

Dubbed the Experience Challenge, players that increase their gamerscore by 1,500 between February 12 and April 12, 2007, will receive a chance to win some Xbox Live bounty. The rewards will be divided into three levels:

* Level 1 (Gamers who have an annual gamerscore between 0-4,999 at time of entry): Game Picture, Dashboard theme, Contra for Xbox LIVE Arcade

* Level 2 (5,000-9,999 annual gamerscore): Level 1 Package, 100 Microsoft Points and a contest T-shirt

* Level 3 (10,000+ annual gamerscore): Level 1 Package, 200 Microsoft Points, contest T-shirt and Fusion Frenzy 2

 

 

 

Those who achieve levels one or two will have their Rewards Level upgraded for 2007.

 

In order to participate, you'll need to have a valid Windows Live ID linked with your Xbox Live gamercard, be a legal resident of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, and be at least thirteen years-old. Microsoft says we can expect future competitions to be available to a global audience.

 

Sign up for participation here on February 12. Reward quantities are limited so winners will be selected on a first come, first served basis.

Το GoW είναι βασισμένο στην unreal engine. Οσοι έχουν ασχοληθεί με το unreal tournament την αναγνωρίζουν αμέσως.

Ειδικά με τα homos του UT2003+ είναι σχεδόν πανομοιότυποι οι χαρακτήρες του GoW.

Περίεργος είμαι να δω τα γραφικά του UT2007 με πιο βελτιωμένη έκδοση της unreal engine που χρησιμοποιεί το GoW.

Def Jam: Videos and characters

 

Eletronic Arts released these 2 new videos of Def Jam: Icon showcasing the environments and the defense DJ Control system. And as a bonus, 22 fighters are unveiled: Big Boi, BunB, E-40, Fat Joe, Ghostface, Jim Jones, Kano, Kevin Liles, Lil Jon, Ludacris, Method Man, Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Redman, Russell Simmons, Sean Paul, Sticky Fingaz, T.I., Tego Calder, The Game, Young Jeezy.

 

 

 

UPDATE : Def Jam 360 demo tomorrow

 

Remember that Def Jam: Icon demo for Xbox 360? Probably not, since despite EA claiming it would be out recently, it wasn't. Not to worry though, because it may have come up hard but we are assured it will be appearing on Xbox Live Marketplace tomorrow.

 

 

The demo, as previously reported, offers an early look at how the game aims to "blend" the hip-hop lifestyle with fighting. Hard to imagine! There's a gas station level and Big Boi and T.I. characters to beat up, along with one song from each - "Kryptonite" from Big Boi (and Purple Ribbon All-Stars) as well as Top Back from T.I.

 

The full game is pretty close to release too, so you won't have to wait long after the demo if you're keen. In fact, US gamers will be able to grab it on 6th March while European gamers will find it available at their local games shop from 16th March for either PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

 

You might look a bit daft if you plumped for the former on day one though, what with the PS3 itself not being out for another week after that. Presumably it's a typo - look for the console and all its friendly games on the 23rd.
