To θέμα είναι ότι αν τα λεγανε αυτά 2-3 devs μπορεί να σε έβαζε σε υποψίες ή να έλεγες ότι θα τρώνε καλά αυτοί από την MS για να την αβαντάρουν έτσι. Όταν όμως τα ακούς συνέχεια, τότε αυτό για μένα είναι σίγουρα μία ένδειξη για το τι θα πρέπει να περιμένουμε σε αυτή την γενιά.

In news that might go some way to quelling the burning desires of those Live Arcade fans waiting for Geometry Wars 3, EA has announced it'll be releasing another Bizarre Creations shooter for Xbox 360 this spring. Concieved by EA's mobile gaming division Pogo.com, but developed by Bizarre, Boom Boom Rocket is EA's first foray into the world of Live Arcade. It sees players triggering fireworks to the beat of the music while travelling through a 3D cityscape. If you match your detonations to the rhythm, you're rewarded with more spectacular explosions. The fireworks are choreographed to 10 original tracks composed by Ian Livingstone - who has worked on video game soundtracks for the likes of Ubisoft and Electronic Arts. Each track supports three different difficulty settings and, by mastering each one, you'll be able to unlock new firework designs and activate a "psychedelic bonus mode". If you can't wait until spring to play Boom Boom Rocket, it might be worth checking out FantaVision on PS2, which, er, also has fireworks in it.

If you haven't noticed already, Bungie and Microsoft have already begun to increase the throttle on the Halo 3 hype train. In the latest update from Bungie.net, the good folks behind Halo 3 have provided an in-depth look at the newly remade MA5C assault rifle. Early movies and images of Halo 3 clearly showed a gun that looked eerily like the Halo: Combat Evolved assault rifle. The question of how similar it would be to that early standard issue gun has now been answered. The MA5C is an improved version of the MA5B. How improved? The initial improvements listed on the site include a heavier barrel, redesigned cowling, and redesigned hand guard. To you and me, those will all come off as largely cosmetic. The handling is what matters. The MA5C is said to have strength somewhere between the original MA5B and Halo 2's BR55 Battle Rifle. If you're hoping for a return to the Halo: Combat Evolved feel for your assault rifle, you may be a bit out of luck. The MA5C has a smaller clip that is equal in size to the BR55 (32 rounds). It also has a longer range than the original assault rifle, meaning it will handle well as a medium range weapon just as the battle rifle does. The amount of damage each round does has also been increased over the MA5B. From the description, it will take nearly an entire clip to take down an opponent that has a full shield with MA5C fire alone or about seven rounds to take down an enemy who has had their shield dropped. One comment in the article that is sure to raise some eyebrows is the mention that, "The most significant negative comment was reference to the MA5C's lack of a secondary weapon system." Secondary weapon system? Perhaps that is the answer to the mysterious role of the X Button in Halo 3. Bungie, always known for dropping mysterious clues here and there, also provided some remarks from "soldiers" on the MA5C. Make of them what you will. # "The (MA5C) is the workhorse for us ground-pounders. Just holding it makes you feel like God's own anti-son-of-a-blam!-machine." # "I have slogged through snow and mud and sand with my (MA5C); even got dumped into an open sewer with it and it has never given me a bit of complaint. I trust it like I trust my own arms." # "The MA5C is built like a brick outhouse with Venetian blinds. You can pound on a mike foxtrot with it like it was a sledgehammer." # "For every time I've felt outgunned by those alien bastards shooting blobs of energy at me I have felt like death himself watching their bodies come apart under a hail of lead from my (MA5C)." # "The romeo echo mike foxtrot's decision to mechanically reduce the (MA5C)'s magazine capacity by nearly half is pretty frustrating; even if their data was showing that jamming because of loss of spring strength was becoming an issue." # "The only thing I can think of that would make the (MA5C) any sweeter would be an under-slung shotty or a forty mike mike." # "Next time I'm dirtside I've gotta try and find a red filter for the flashlight; slipspace travel screws with mail-order something fierce. We know that the battle rifle is still in Halo 3 which is what the original pistol evolved into when they toned it down for Halo 2. Yet, the pictures we've seen of the pistol have it looking similar to the original as well. Does that mean we'll have three mid-range weapon options? It seems unlikely, but it looks like we'll just have to wait and see.

As previously reported, action takes place in the weird and wonderful Oblivion plane of Daedra Prince Sheogorath. He looks to you to become his champion, to defend his realm from impending destruction. There's about 30 hours of new content here, as you undertake pyschotic trials in either the Mania or Dementia side of the land. You've also got new creatures to contend with, from Flesh Atronachs and hideous insects, to skeletal Shambles and amphibious Grummites: presumably some of which will be part of the levelled-enemy clientèle. New items, ingredients, and spells are available, plus talented craftsmen of Crucible and Bliss will be able to forge armour and weapons just for you. "The enthusiastic response we've received to our downloadable content has been overwhelming, and we're excited to bring Oblivion fans a full expansion," said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. "The world we've created for Shivering Isles is unlike anything you've seen or played in Oblivion and we can't wait for folks to play it." The 360 version will be available to download from Xbox Live, whilst PC gamers amongst you will be able to pop to your local retail outlet for a boxed copy, much like recent expansion Knights of The Nine. There's no word on price, or a PS3 version, though we expect both to appear in time. Satiate your beardy lust with these new screenshots, and don't panic, you'll be able to use your previously saved power-house characters.

While Ogre Battle and Tactics Ogre games have appeared on several systems including the Playstation, Nintendo 64, and Game Boy Advance, this will be the first time the series will appear on a Microsoft platform. Few details have been released regarding the plot and overall design of the game save that it will follow in the footsteps of Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen, originally developed by Atlus for the Super Nintendo in 1993. Though more recent entries to the series have fallen into the category of tactical RPGs, the original game featured a battle system which combined elements of turn-based and real-time strategy games. The as yet unnamed game will be the first new game in the Ogre Battle series in more than five years. "It wasn't long before the cube was replaced with the mesh of a human, giving birth to the short-lived but much-loved crotch cam," the update reads, with a screenshot of what appears to be a polygonal package. "During this time our meshes had become textured and our camera was no longer nestled inside someone's crotch. Tiny little dots are actually visual representations of life forms in Albion, spending their days playing a game of tag amongst each other.
