ΧΑΧΑΧΑ..... Τα έχεις κάνει ολίγον σαλάτα Το xbox βγήκε Νοέμβριο του 2001. Τα ξανασκάσαμε το Νοέμβριο του 2005 για μια κονσόλα που ήταν παρα πολύ καλύτερη. Το πως βλέπεις το 360 κουτσουρεμένο μόνο εσύ το ξέρεις. 'Οσο για το καλώδιο του HDMI και το hype που έχει καταφέρει η Sony, μπορείς να το ψάξεις στο κουτί του ps3 (έγινα και fanboy τρομάρα μου)

In addition, Robbie Bach and Bill Gates are to announce that Xbox 360 will be able to act as a set-top box for Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). As the video marketplace is doing surprisingly well, surpassing other video-on-demand services, offering television as well sounds like a natural progression. However, we're not looking forward to leaving a heat-loving console on continuously, nor does a 20GB HDD sound ideal for any DVR features including in IPTV. Perhaps the announcement will coincide with a new Xbox 360 model and larger HDD? Bach and Gates are expected to make the announcement at the Consumer Electronics Show Sunday night. Official NPD figures for console hardware sales should be revealed January 11. [update 1: As many of you have pointed out, the Xbox 360 is only noisy when the disc drive is running. p3tran Δημοσ. 6 Ιανουαρίου 2007 Δημοσ. 6 Ιανουαρίου 2007 ANA scaler chip new HANA scaler chip η κατασταση μου θυμιζει εποχες IBM-AMSTRAD, τοτε που επειδη η IBM ειχε ανεμιστηρα μεσα στο μονιτορ και η amstrad δεν ειχε στα δικα της -αφου δεν ειχε κανενα λογο να εχει- η ibm διεδιδε φημες οτι τα amstrad κινδυνευουν απο ...θερμοπληξια (πραγμα που ισχυε μονο για τα ibm της εποχης) ο πολυς κοσμος το εχαβε, και η amstrad στην προοπτικη να χασει πωλησεις, πηγε κι εχωσε ενα ανεμιστηρακι -το οποιο μαλιστα εκανε και ΠΟΛΥ θορυβο- μεσα στα δικα της μονιτορς, το οποιο φυσαγε στο ...πουθενα, απλα ωστε να βουλωσει την ibm σε αυτο το θεμα. βεβαια οσοι ξερανε εστω και τα ελαχιστα, το πρωτο πραγμα που κανανε μολις παιρνανε το μηχανημα της amstrad ητανε να ανοιγουνε το μονιτορ και να αποσυνδεουνε το ενοχλητικο και ασκοπο ανεμιστηρακι... παρε και μαμα θυρα HDMI λοιπον, παρε και νεο scaler chip, παρε και 120αρι δισκο και αντε γεια! στην αμερικη η ατακα των πωλητων για το ps3 ειναι οτι εχει τριπλασια μνημη απο οτι το 360, δηλ. 60giga εναντι 20 giga (!!!) ενα τελειως αθορυβο xboxακι στα 65nm με 120αρι δισκο και hdmi πορτα σιγουρα ειναι μια απαντηση στους ασχετους και στους "τιμιους" πωλητες.. προς το καλοκαιρι το βλεπω να σκαει μυτη.. περισσοτερα νεα οταν υπαρχουν. εννοειται βεβαια οτι ο δισκος (το μονο σημαντικο απο ολα αυτα) θα μπαινει σε ολα τα xbox 360, και εννοειται οτι το νεο revision δεν θα κανει απολυτως τιποτα καλυτερα απο τα 10 εκατομμυρια που ηδη υπαρχουν στην αγορα.. η δε τεχνολογια στα 65nm φυσικα θα περασει σε ολα τα 360 μολις ξεκινησει..

That means Microsoft has also hit its targets for sales of consoles during the holidays. Microsoft is also dropping something of a bomb at the show. Jim Brady, a spokesman for Microsoft, said Gates and Bach will say in the keynote speech Sunday night at the Venetian Hotel that the Xbox 360 will be able to serve as a set-top box for IPTV, or Internet protocol television. The details on this announcement are sketchy and Brady says only that it will appear later this year. But that raises the specter of how much of a black box will the video game console become. If you can get your television, movies, music and other entertainment downloaded from the telephone companies such as AT&T -- a major IPTV provider that is using Microsoft's IPTV software -- and have it accessible through your Xbox 360, what else do you need? Maybe you don't need a PC. For sure, there are a ton of unanswered questions here. But the prospects are interesting. Could AT&T give away Xbox 360s for free in exchange for users signing up for subscriptions to IPTV service, which gives high-definition programs, video on demand, and digital video recording? Will Microsoft have to come out with a larger hard disk drive for the Xbox 360 in order to allow it to fulfill the digital video recording function? Brady declined to comment. He did say that no consumers would be left behind, meaning that all of the 10 million plus Xbox 360s in the market would be able to participate in the IPTV services at some level. Brady says gamers have shown that they like Xbox Live Marketplace and are downloading videos and music more than Microsoft anticipated already, even with the small 20-gigabyte hard disk on the Xbox 360. In other details, Microsoft declined to say how many Zune music/video players it sold during the holidays. It will only say that it is targeting 1 million sold by June 30. There over 5 million Xbox Live members, though the paid portion is not borken out. Marketplace downloads, messages and other features are exceeding expectations. Lastly, Nintendo hasn't yet disclosed how many Wiis it sold during the holidays. But Beth Lewellyn, a spokeswoman for Nintendo of America, said that sales in North America exceeded Nintendo's expectations. Nintendo predicted it would sell four million consoles worldwide by Dec. 31, but she could not confirm that number.

Είχαμε "αποκτήσει" το NBA 2K7 και αμέσως τους άφησα να ψάχνουν κάτι HD videos των 300-ιων (η νέα ταινία με τους 300 του Λεωνίδα) και έκατσα να παίζω. Το έχω ξαναπεί και συνεχίζω να το πιστεύω,ο μόνος λόγος (για μένα) που αξίζει το Χ360 είναι το NBA 2K7. Τι κι αν φαίνεται το aliasing,τι κι αν έχει "γλιστρήματα" που κάνουν μπαμ,τι κι αν οι επαφές δεν είναι top notch,τι κι αν μερικές φορές λόγω των κινήσεων γίνονται βήματα τα οποία δεν σφυρίζονται,τι κι αν η άμυνα δεν πείθει μερικές φορές και το γενικό στιλ αρκετές φορές σου δίνει την αίσθηση ότι κάτι λείπει.....το παιχνίδι μετράει άσχημα. Έτσι και βγει κάνα 2Κ8 το οποίο θα διορθώνει τα παραπάνω προβλήματα (και κυρίως τις επαφές των χεριών με την μπάλα και τα γλιστρήματα) τότε παίζει φάση να την αγοράσω χωρίς σκέψη την κονσόλα που θα το έχει,είτε λέγεται X360,είτε PS3........είτε Phantom
