E3 2006: Xbox 360 Assassinated

Ubisoft Montreal's Prince of Persia influenced action game may come to Xbox 360.

May 12, 2006 - Ubisoft Montreal revealed its next incredible project, Assassins: Creed, exclusively for PlayStation 3 at E3 this year, much to the delight of Sony console fans and to the dismay of Microsoft consoles fans.

 

A third-person action game in the vein of Prince of Persia, Ubisoft Montreal's newest title shows off the next generation with fantastic texture work, early but promising animations, and newly envisioned levels of Prince/Spider-Men climbing/traversing. But the game, officially, is strictly exclusive to PlayStation 3. Ubisoft officially would not comment on a possible Xbox 360 version.

 

According to sources close to the company, however, there are potential plans for an Xbox 360 version at Assassins: Creed sometime in 2007. Additionally, Microsoft sources who asked not to be mentioned by name, claimed the demo, hidden behind closed doors at E3, was running on an Xbox 360 using a third-party USB PlayStation controller. The game system was hidden in a stand covered by a sheet. Again, Ubisoft officials would not comment.

ναι ρε xrest.. δεν αμφισβητισα ποτε οτι θα βγει για 360..

 

απλα my point is οτι ειναι η ΥΠΕΡΤΑΤΗ ξεφτυλα να τρεχει και να demαρεται το "ps3 exlusive"

πανω σε ενα κρυμμενο 360, που του εχουνε κοτσαρει ps joypad, και να λενε "να τι ωραια που τρεχει στο ps3!!"

 

δεν ξερω αν το καταλαβες αυτο...

While talking to a Ubi employee who asked not to be named, he accidentally let slip that Assassin's Creed is being developed on 360 as well. When we asked what 'exclusive' meant upon catching him out, he shut up, but we'll assume exclusive means 'timed exclusive'.

δυστυχως.. το διαβασα κι αυτο.. πιστευω οτι αν η sony ανακοινωνε μια λογικη τιμη, η m$ μπορει να εριχνε τις δικες της.. ή μπορει να εδινε παραπανω υπηρεσιες, ή κατι..

 

ομως κατι τετοια νεα απο τον ανταγωνιστη σου, σου λυνουνε τα χερια απο τετοιου ειδους.. τακτικες..

 

για αυτο παντα ο ανταγωνισμος ειναι καλος για τον καταναλωτη..

 

πιστευω οτι η sony θα κρινει απο τα pre-orders (που φανταζομαι θα μειωθουν σημαντικα σε ρυθμο), και θα αναγκαστει να αλλαξει πρακτικη.

 

αν δεν αλλαξει, δεν νομιζω να αλλαξει πρακτικη κανενας αλλος, αφου το σετακι "360+wii αντι για ps3" ακουγεται μια χαρα.

 

καποια στιγμη πιθανον να ερθει και το επομενο χαστουκι "ps3 game disk = 360 game disk +$10" οποτε οι μειωσεις τιμων μπορει και να αργησουν...

Gran Turismo on the PS3 looks good

IF YOU LOOK at the Sony/PS3 stand at E3, there are a bunch of games running, and several demos. Watching closely, you will see that the PS3 programs are fairly object-sparse, the one exception being Gran Turismo.

Well, the version of Gran Turismo, ostensibly running on a PS3, is really running on a PC. Is Sony trying to tell us that a PC is a better gaming platform than the upcoming $600 beastie, or is it the other way around?

 

Either way, this would be very embarrassing for them if it got out, so make sure not to tell anyone. µ

το assasin creed το δειχνανε απο κρυμμενο 360, το Grand Turismo απο pc.. τελικα γαμω τα μοτερια το ps3..

Τουλάχιστον παραδέχονται πως δείχνει καλό ... είναι μεγάλη υπόθεση το 1080p, ακόμα και σε παιχνίδι ps2... κρίμα που μόνο όσοι δώσουν 600 ευρώ για ps3 μπορούν να την χαρούν.

(οι εικόνες δεν μπορούν να μας δείξουν την αλήθεια δυστυχώς, αφού είναι σε χαμηλή ανάλυση)
