Gamestop website revealing more 360 titles

 

Last week the Gamestop website accidentally revealed that Hitman: Blood Money is coming to the Xbox 360 which turned out to be true a few days later

 

First thereʼs Def Jam 360, developed and published by EA and filed under ʽfighting, onlineʽ. Sweet! Def Jam 2 performed surprisingly well as a party game with fair amounts of thrashtalking. This is gonna be awesome online! Expected June 1st 2006.

Then thereʼs Dog Tag, developed by Diezel Power, published by a Digital Jesters, filed under ʽaction, shootersʼ. Could be anything but my moneyʼs one an army-based action shooter. Also expected June 1st 2006.

We continue our list of mysteries with ShadowClan, an action-adventure published and developed by Tiger Hill Entertainment. Guess what, expected June 1st 2006.

Nearing the end of our list with Theseis, an adventure developed by Track7 Games, no publisher specified. And again; expected June 1st 2006.

Last but definitely not least; Team Ninjaʼs Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball 2. Slated for October 1st 2006.

Ms Croft Making Her X360 Debut Today

 

Eidos has released a Tomb Raider: Legend demo and various other Croft-themed goodies for Xbox 360 on Xbox Live Marketplace from Tuesday April 4th 2006.

 

The playable Xbox 360 demo of Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend will be available to download together with an exclusive trailer of the game and also a selection of themes to customise your Xbox 360. There will also be a selection of picture packs of Lara from the game and real-life Lara, Karima Adebibe.

 

Delivering next-gen visuals, Laraʼs premiere on Xbox 360 is grounded in the seriesʼ tomb raiding roots. Created by Crystal Dynamics, Lara will make her first next-gen appearance on XBox 360 while a PC version of the game will also be available.

 

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend is the seventh title to be released in the Tomb Raider series, which originally launched in 1996 and is still one of the best selling videogame franchises of all time, with over 28 million copies sold.

Chrono Game & New Level 5 Online Game Coming To 360?

 

According to a 2CH website rumor, there are five new games coming to the Xbox360 which will be announced at the Japanese press event on the sixth of April. They are Chrono Guransu (with Sakaguchi supervision), a new Seiken Densetsu game, a new Lufia game, Level 5's Online game, Heavy Nightmare, and Fantasy. If this is true, it would mean a serious Japanese lineup for the console. More info when we have it, rumor mill for now.

Next-gen Sonic this year

 

SEGA Europe CEO Mike Hayes has confirmed that our old friend Sonic the Hedgehog will get his first outing on next-gen consoles next year.

 

Speaking to Tech Digest, Hayes said: "SEGA will continue to evolve the franchise. A big part of this will be a new Sonic title, to be released on to next-gen platforms later this year."

 

But on which next-gen platforms, exactly? Well, back in September, SEGA said Sonic would be coming to PS3 and Xbox 360. Hayes said that SEGA is "looking forward" to developing games for the Nintendo Revolution, too, so here's hoping.

Hayes also had some bad news for beardy retro fans, stating: "There are no plans for Dreamcast to make a comeback. At the moment SEGA are concentrating solely on developing quality software for both current and next generation games consoles."

 

Ah well. It's Sonic's birthday 15th in June and SEGA has big celebrations planned, so you never know, he might appear on Xbox 360 around then.

Zoo Keeper For Revolution & Xbox360

 

According to an interview on NP, Zoo Keeper may be headed to the Revolution. In the article, it is mentioned that the game is heading to the Xbox360 for sure, we can only assume they mean the XBL Arcade.
