Βασικά εγώ περιμένω και το season finale για να κάνω και μια συνολική (ανα)θεώρηση της 2ης season. (όχι πως μέχρι τώρα δεν την εχω ήδη θάψει, αλλά άλλο είναι η συνολική κριτική έχοντας όλα τα δεδομένα). Πιο καλός ο λάκος που θα φτυαρίσω .

Προς το παρόν, αρκεί αυτό: Η 2η season δεν ήταν κακή γιατι δεν πήραμε απαντήσεις ή πήραμε χάλια απαντήσεις. Ήταν κακή γιατι οι παραγωγοί κατάφεραν να σκοτώσουν το ενδιαφέρον για κάθε ένα απο τους χαρακτήρες με μια χείριστη ανάπτυξη της ιστορίας, ηλίθια flashbacks και άστοχα ρομάντζα.

Ε' date=' τώρα όσον αφορά αυτό, επίτρεψε μου να μην μπορώ να δεχτώ απλά την άποψη σου. Το ρώσικο είναι ιστορικό έργο και ήδη κλασικό. Το καινούργιο θα χρειαστεί να περάσουν κάποια χρόνια για να μπορέσουμε να αξιολογήσουμε πόσο κλασικό είναι. Αλλά ωφείλω να πω ότι μου έχει ήδη δημιουργηθεί η αίσθηση ότι ξεχάστηκε. Το παλιό θα το βλέπουμε και μετά από πολλά πολλά χρόνια. Τέλος πάντων, θα βγούμε off-topic. Δε θα το συνεχίσω. Αν θες πες και εσύ μια κουβέντα και ας μην συνεχίσουμε παραπέρα.

Δηλαδή μετράμε την αξία του έργου από την ιστορικότητά του ως ταινία; Συμφωνώ με τον KaizerSoze, το Solaris του Ταρκόφσκυ είναι ιστορικό γιατί, κατ'αρχήν, προβλήθηκε ως η σοβιετική απάντηση στο 2001: A Space Odyssey. Ανεπαρκέστατη η απάντηση, κατά την ταπεινή μου γνώμη, αλλά τέλος πάντων.

Για να μην παρεκτραπώ εδώ (έτοιμος είμαι...), δες λίγο αυτό το topic καθώς και αυτό εδώ για τις απόψεις του KaizerSoze και εμού για το Solaris. Γιατί να μην συνεχίσουμε εκεί;

So, do you wanna know what we know about the finale? Skip this paragraph if you don't—though it's not as if we could solve the whole "Lost" riddle. But here are some tidbits. "We are going to tell you why the plane crashed," says Cuse. "We're going to explain what happens if you don't push the button. And we're going to resolve the Michael-and-Walt story." (Michael's son, Walt, was kidnapped by "the others" in last year's season finale and has been missing ever since.) Desmond, the enigmatic guy originally discovered in the hatch, also reappears, and he's not in good shape, though he gives the survivors fresh hope for escape. Just as last year's finale expanded our scope of the island's boundaries, this year's will expand its relevance. "There is something else that is reverberating on our planet that is directly linked to this island," says Monaghan. "You begin to understand that what is happening there has a significant butterfly effect in the rest of the world." One more thing: we think another character is going to die, or come close. It's just a hypothesis, based on the fact that when we asked Michelle Rodriguez (Ana Lucia) to guess which character would die after Libby, she said: "I can't do that, 'cause I know." Then she clammed up.

 

Forget about Locke or Jack or Ana Lucia—the really big question is, how will "Lost" end? Will we ever learn the secret to the island? The hatches. The numbers. The Dutch company that apparently ran a psychiatric experiment on the island 25 years earlier. The chance meetings so many characters had before the crash. Will all the pieces of the puzzle fit, or will "Lost" fall apart under the weight of its own mythology, like "Twin Peaks"? If the producers have their way, you'll get answers in the next three or four years, before the story lines and mysteries spin out of control. "This story is meant to end—people want to see the final chapter," says Cuse.

 

But in the meantime, they warn fans not to try to connect every plotlet. For instance, it was actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's idea, not the writers', for Eko to write Scripture on his stick, so those entries probably aren't very significant. Ditto for some of the flashback crossovers. Some are clearly important, such as Jack's dad's relationship with Ana Lucia. But others—like the time Kate's mom waited on Sawyer in a diner—are merely a wink at the audience. "We never promised that there would be a unified-field theory of 'Lost'," says Damon Lindelof, who created the show with J. J. Abrams ("Alias," "M:i:III"). "You'll get many small answers along the way, and ultimately you will understand this island, but all those answers might not necessarily be reduced to a simple one-sentence explanation." Until then, all you conspiracy theorists—just enjoy the trip, and get lost.

When it comes to "Lost," it's all about listening to the fans, McPherson said. The drama series about marooned passengers on a mysterious island will return in the fall in its current Wednesday time slot with seven original episodes, and then go on hiatus until January or February, when it will return to the Wednesday night schedule with original episodes until May.

 

During "Lost's" hiatus, ABC will launch "Day Break," starring Taye Diggs as a detective who literally lives the same day over and over -- and it's a bad one -- for 13 weeks.

 

"'Lost' is a show people really love. They make an appointment for [it]," McPherson said. "They absolutely just get furious when it's in repeat. So we want to be able to say to the audience, it's going to be on for this block here -- then bring it back and it will run straight through."

 

The show's executive producers, Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, said today that they're excited about the new schedule and will design the third season around the new airtime order.

 

"Our audience was incredibly frustrated with repeats," Cuse wrote in an e-mail. "Now when 'Lost' is on, it's on. And, the audience doesn't have to wait all the way until the spring for the show to return, which given the cliffhanger nature of our finale would be too long."

 

The new non-repeat schedule "allows us to really keep the momentum of our particular type of storytelling," he added.

Το προτιμω ετσι....7 επεισοδια μεχρι το τελος του Οκτωβρη,αρχες Νοεμβρη..μετα διακοπη μεχρι Γεναρη και στη συνεχεια συνεχομενα επεισοδια μεχρι τελος..

Πολυ καλυτερο απο το φετινο που μας ταραξαν στα repeats...

Μπορεί να είναι η βάρκα που ζήτησε ο Michael και να την στείλαν οι "Αλλοι". Ίσως να πάνε με αυτήν εκεί και μετα το "πούλημα" να την πάρει ο Michael και να φύγει. Αλλά μεταξύ μας, σιγά μην αφήσουν τον Walt να φύγει

 

Πάντως αναμένεται ένα αρκετά ενδιαφέρον seaon finale.....
