Συνηθως τα καμμενα pixel οφειλονται σε προβληματικο τρανζιστορ του συγκεκριμενου pixel που εχει καει το οποιο ή μενει κλειστο και βλεπεις μαυρο ή μενει ανοιχτο και περναει το φως οποτε βλεπεις ασπρο. Αυτο το προβλημα τις πιο πολλες φορες ερχεται απο το εργοστασιο. Δεν νομιζω οτι υπαρχει τροπος να προσεξεις να μην καψεις καποιο pixel.

This is slightly off-topic, read only if you are acutely aware of the dead pixel problem.

 

Those of you who have just spent a few thousands on some nice LCD Monitors/Laptop and found dead pixels are probably familiar with the draconion dead pixel policy of most manufacturers. It affects some people more than others, but once you have discovered the dead pixels on your monitor, it is hard to look at anything else, let alone enjoy the nice pictures you took in your last safari. The Apple Store does not even let you open up a Powerbook before buying to ensure no dead pixels. Try returning your 23 inch LCD monitor because of dead pixels and most companies will give you a good run around.

 

While there is still no guarantee of not getting a dead pixel free laptop - the only thing that seems to work is a combination of prayers, pleading to tech support and making friends at your local reseller or getting once used laptops from ebay. The good folks at MonitorsDirect recently sent me an email about their deadpixel policy which is worth checking out. Bottomline, they will take back any /replace monitor they sell if you have any dead pixels.
