Hi - just got an NB3 and having trouble installing the NB3 on a second machine. I have successfully installed it on an old Sony VAIO running Windows 2000, but am having trouble installing the drivers on a more recent Dell running XP (Service pack 1).

 

When I click on the menu link to install NB3 USB drivers, I get the following error messages:

 

"Gsilnst.exe - Entry Point Not Found

 

The procedure entry point CM_Get_Child_Ex could not be located in the dynamic link library SETUPAPI.dll"

 

"Error loading.... newdev.dll"

 

"DSL modem setup wizard administrator privileges are required to install, uninstall, or configure the DSL software."

 

Anyone come across the same problem/got any ideas what's going on?

 

Some other points:

 

My user profile says I have administrator rights.

I have no firewalls running.

There is precious little software on here that would be interfering with it.

I've since re-installed it on the other machine to check it wasn't a problem with the CD.
