Πώς μπορώ να βλέπω τα mail μου στο outlook;;

ρε παιδια τα κανω ολα σωστα προσπαθωντας να στησω το yahoo mail μου με outlook express αλλα συνεχεια μου ζηταει password και παρ'οτι ειναι σωστο δεν συνδεεται...

Α φίλε μου εγώ έκανα το gmail μου αλλά βλέπω στο yahoo είμαστε μαζί.

Κι εμένα αυτό μου κάνει και το έκανα πέρα.

Κάποιοι λέγανε σε ένα θέμα που είχα ανοίξει πως το είχα καταφέρει αλλά εγώ όσο και να το προσπάθισα δεν έβγαλα τίποτα.

Όλο password ζητάει και μου σπάει τα νεύρα.

Είπαμε, όπως και στο gmail, πάμε επιλογες mail, πρόσβαση και προώθηση POP, ενεργοποιούμε το ΡΟΡ και ΠΑΤΑΜΕ ΑΠΟΘΗΚΕΥΣΗ

Και για το gmail και για το yahoo μπήκα στους αντίστοιχους λογαριασμούς (μου) για να γράψω τα σωστά links. Φυσικά και τα έχω ενεργοποιήσει και τα λαμβάνω ΟΛΑ στο Outlook Express. (έχω και freemail στο OE)

Έκανες τον κόπο να πατήσεις στα link?

Θεωρώ ότι έδωσα "μασημένη τροφή" γι' αυτό το θέμα.

Αν μπήκες και δεν τα βρήκες ξαναπροσπάθησε...

Πες τα ρε Χρύσα, μ' έχουνε πρήξει μ' αυτό το θέμα και κανείς τους δε μπαίνει στο yahoo να ελέγξει αυτά που γράφω. Αυτό το yahoo plus δεν το ξέρω.

Παρακαλώ όποιος ενδιαφέρεται να ενεργοποιήσει τις παραπάνω υπηρεσίες, να ακολουθήσει τα links, και ΑΝ ΔΕ ΒΡΕΙ ΤΙΠΟΤΑ, ΤΟΤΕ να postάρει. Υπήρχε και σχετικό άρθρο στο RAM περί ΡΟΡ3 στο yahoo και με τις απαιτούμενες ρυθμίσεις. Δε ξέρω τι άλλο πρέπει να γράψω για να πείσω μερικούς.

Microsoft Outlook 98 and 2000

Yahoo! Mail users can read their email in Outlook by subscribing to the Yahoo! Mail Plus service. This service allows you to use Outlook or another POP3 client to access and manage your Yahoo! Mail messages.

 

Outlook allows you to add a new email account to your existing profile. This means you do not have to replace your current settings in order to send and receive Yahoo! Mail messages. Unfortunately, Microsoft Outlook 97 does not support authenticated SMTP, and thus Microsoft Outlook 97 cannot be used to read Yahoo! Mail messages.

 

Microsoft Outlook 98 and 2000

 

To add a new email account to your existing profile:

 

1. From the Tools menu, select "Accounts." If you do not see "Accounts," place your cursor over the two arrows at the bottom of the list to display more choices.

2. Click the "Add" button.

3. From the Add menu, click "Mail."

4. In the Display Name box, type your name as you would like it to appear when you send a message, and click "Next."

5. In the Email Address box, enter your Yahoo! Mail address (for example, "[email protected]") and click "Next."

6. In the box labeled "My incoming mail server is a..." select "POP3" server.

7. Type "pop.mail.yahoo.com" in the Incoming Mail (POP3 or IMAP) Server box.

8. Type "smtp.mail.yahoo.com" in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server box.

9. Click "Next."

10. In the Account Name box, enter your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com").

11. In the Password box, enter your Yahoo! Mail password.

12. Check "Remember Password" if you do not want Outlook to prompt you for your password each time you check your mail.

13. Do not check the box labeled "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)."

14. Click "Next."

15. Choose the appropriate connection type under the "Which Method Do You Use to Connect to the Internet" heading.

Important: The Yahoo! Mail SMTP server now requires authentication. To turn this setting on, follow these steps:

 

1. From the Tools menu, choose "Accounts."

2. Select the "Mail" tab.

3. Select your Yahoo! Mail account and click "Properties."

4. Click on the "Servers" tab.

5. Check the box next to "My Server Requires Authentication."

6. Please make sure that "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" is not checked.

7. Click "OK."

 

To control deletion of messages from the Yahoo! Mail server:

 

1. From the Tools menu, select "Accounts."

2. Click on the "Mail" tab.

3. Select your Yahoo! Mail account and click "Properties."

4. Click on the "Advanced" tab.

5. Check "Leave a copy of messages on server" if you want to save your Yahoo! Mail messages on the Yahoo! Mail server as well as on your local computer. Please note that setting your email client to remove messages from the server will cause your messages to be deleted from the server. Once the messages are deleted, we are unable to retrieve them.

6. Click "OK."

7. Close Microsoft Outlook and restart.

 

If your ISP blocks port 25 or if you're unable to send email, then you will need to use port 587 when sending via Yahoo!'s SMTP server. To make this change, please follow the directions below:

 

1. From the "Tools" menu, select "Accounts"

2. Select your Yahoo! POP account and click on the "Properties" button

3. Click on the "Advanced" tab

4. Next to "Outgoing server (SMTP), change port 25 to 587

5. Click "Apply", then click "OK" and "Close"
