Once you have imported a clip you can do further basic editing: Multi-trim a clip into separate sub-clips, or Join / Separate multiple clips. Also use the Enhance Video option to auto enhance the clip, add transition effects within the clip (or automatically at scene changes), ---------overlay text----, and record a voiceover to mix with the original clip and an optional music track.
