Το Adobe premiere μέχρι την έκδοση 6 λεγόταν "Adobe Premiere" σκέτο χωρίς το Pro... η επόμενη έκδοση ήταν το Adobe Premiere Pro 1.0 που ήταν η συνέχεια του Adobe Premiere 6.5 αλλά μερικοί συνεχίζουν να το λένε Adobe Premiere 7. Το Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 είναι η τελευταία έκδοση.
