Ωραίο έτσι?

 

Βασικά είναι από τους δημιουργούς του Killer 7 και η θεματολογία θα είναι παραπλήσια.

 

Πολύ ωραία cell-shaded γραφικά, αλλά κρίμα γιατί το trailer είναι το παλιό, το οποίο κυκλοφορεί εδώ και κάτι μήνες.

 

Απλώς το ξαναέδειξαν στην TGS.

 

Πάντως φαίνεται εξαιρετικά ενδιαφέρον παιχνίδι.

Το παιχνίδι είναι από την Suda 51, η οποία και έκανε το Killer 7 για το GameCube. Το συγκεκριμένο παιχνίδι άλλοι το λάτρεψαν και άλλοι το μίσησαν, ενώ η βαθμολογία του κυμαινόταν από 90% για ορισμένα sites μέχρι και 50% για άλλα (Gamerankings average 77%)

 

To Killer 7 είναι από τα πιό βίαια και gorry παιχνίδια που υπάρχουν σε όλες τις κονσόλες.

 

Επίσης καί εκείνο το παιχνίδι είναι με cell-shaded graphics.

 

Εν ολίγης, η Suda 51 κινείται στις ίδιες ακριβώς γραμμές που χάραξε με το Killer 7, τόσο από άποψης γραφικών όσο και θεματολογίας (στο περίπου...)

DVD όπως είπε και ο Daredevil δεν θα παίζει.

 

Λειτουργίες divx κλ κλ, πάλι μάλλον όχι.

 

Θα έχει τα Wii channels όμως, τα οποία είναι κάτι το καινούργιο.

Suda : When we were thinking to the conception of the game with Wada, we were asking ourselves what where the strong points of the Wii at this time. At first, we didnʼt know. But when we saw this controller, this became obvious : "This game will be for the Wii"

 

According to the following speech, they were hesitating with a PS2-version.

 

Wada : At this time, there were many things that couldnʼt be revealed on Wii. Excuse us. But if we wanted to make this game, the Wii choice was obvious. Thanks to this controller, that we can shake just like if it was a Beam Katana.

 

Suda : Oh, this is a Beam Katana [he points the heroʼs sword]. Thatʼs not all, other weapons will be used. It is an "energic" action game. In this game, thanks to the Wii, we are going to be able to feel many things.

 

Wada : Thatʼs exactly the thing. Though weʼre wearing pink T-shirts, il doesnʼt means that it has nothing to do with video games.

 

Suda : Actually, the hero is a big "Bizar Jili Sorceress"-fan [Apparently an anime imagined by Suda that would also exist in the Heroes world]. Maybe could also Marvelous Interactive publish the series ??

 

Wada : It would be great if they could. But, even if it is an interesting project? Thatʼs like you : you created a brand new world.

 

Kato : We were surprised when we watched this [the trailer] ! It was unexpected for a Wii game. The Wii has a "softer" image, hasnʼt it ?

 

Suda : Indeed. Though Nintendo is a company that only makes politically correct games, this game doesnʼt look very correct, does it ?

 

The conversation keeps on like this. We learn that development is going very well, the scenario is finished and the game itself is almost too. It should come in early 2007, with no more precisions. The scenario is the one they talked about before : you are an assassin trying to become the best in the world, fighting the better-ranked assassins.

 

Suda hopes 1,000,000 sales at least, and then be able to realise "Bizar Lili Sorceress" with the money.

Πιστεύω ότι ότι προετοιμάζει το έδαφος για πιο ακριβά παιχνιδιά (λες και δεν υπάρχουν e-shops να αγοράσουμε πιο φτηνά).

Αν είχαν τη δυνατότητα πάντως θα κάναν τη λογική που εφαρμόζουν και οι αντιπροσωπίες αυτοκινήτων στην Ελλάδα. Σου λένε στη διαφήμιση 8900 ευρώ το αυτοκίνητο, αλλά οταν πάς να το αγοράσεις με τόσα λέφτά διαπιστώνεις ότι είναι 1000 κ.κ., 50 άλογα, 3-πορτο, χωρις κλίμα, χωρίς φώτα ομίχλης, χωρίς ABS,χωρις, χωρίς...

Αντίστοιχα αν δεν ερχόταν πακεταρισμένο το Wii (και δεν υπήρχε ενημέρωση για τις άλλες χώρες λόγω ιντερνετ), θα βγάζαν το wii-sports από το πακέτο και θα πουλούσαν ξεχωριστά κονσολα 250 + wii-sports 50 ευρώ+λουράκι καρπού για το wii-mote 10 ευρώ. :)

Πάντως Κύπρο, όπου και καλά είναι και αυτή Ευρωπαϊκή χώρα, οι τιμές είναι πιό πάνω.

The Risks of Nintendo Wii by an MS Employee

Ozymandias of MS has blogged up his thoughts on the Wii. He believes Nintendo has done quite well thus far, avoiding a 'power battle', using a beefed up Gamecube allows for lower development costs and they will most likely sell all 1 million North American units at $249. However, Ozymandias says there are three areas of risk for the Wii, first up is the potential that the controller may not be a success, secondly their online network may not be adequate and lastly the future - how will they deal with selling a 'spruced up Gamecube' against the third and fourth generation PS3 and Xbox 360 titles?

The first is simply that their new controller doesn't live up to expectations, both for end-users and for publishers and developers. I've already mentioned some of my concerns around latency with the controller (especially for FPS/aiming sorts of games), and if the controller doesn't end up being "tight" and feeling just right for gamers Nintendo could see a huge backlash. This also applies to Wii title development from 3rd parties. There's a lot of publisher support right now due to uprising of Nintendo/Wii fever... but all it'll take is a few titles not selling well for that support to be revectored back to other more successful platforms (that don't need unique controller work).

 

The second risk is that Nintendo is unable to deliver a modern online gaming network with the basics, bells, and whistles everyone expects. Early indications are pretty negative, with the confirmed rumors of the frustrating

Friend Code system also being used for Wii. If Nintendo can't even deliver the basics of a unique ID, Friends List, and Presence, I'm concerned they won't be anywhere near delivering more advanced features down the road. (I'll give kudos for the virtual console at least - though I do have concerns about the pricing for playing old school titles.)

 

The final risk I see is how competitive the Wii will be two or three holidays from now. Today Nintendo gets a lot of slack thanks to all the positive and new aspects of Wii - unique controller, low pricing, innovative games, etc. A couple of holidays from now I wonder how compelling a souped-up Gamecube will be to gamers, especially when compared to 3rd and 4th generations PS3 and Xbox 360 titles. Add in uncertainties around their online network, and that the controller won't be so new and exciting anymore, and I worry that we might be facing another Gamecube in a few years. To some extent, Nintendo will be able to counter some of this with a low price, but at some point the delta between the "high-end" consoles and the Wii will shrink to maybe $50-100, and at that point I could see a lot of people tipping toward whatever the more successful "pro" console happens to be.
