Wii SYSTEM LAUNCH DETAILS

 

● The Release date of Wii will be November 19th in the US (1)

● The Price of Wii will be $250 (1)

● The Wii will come packed with WiiSports (1)

● In Japan, Wii is gonna cost 25000yen ($212~ after tax), but won't include WiiSports (1)

● In Japan, the system will be packed with 1 Wii console, 1 Wii remote (w/ strap), nunchuck attachment, Wii AC adaptor, Wii A/V cable, Wii console stand(?), sensor bar, sensor bar stand and two AA batteries. Also, it seems the 25,000 yen price includes tax. (1)

● Wii Sports will retail for 4800yen

● Classic controller retails for 1800yen

● Wiimote retails for 3800yen

● Nunchuck attachment retails for 1800yen

● Zelda will cost 6800yen, and launch with the system. Other Nintendo launch games in Japan are Wario Ware Smooth Moves, Pokemon Revolution and WiiSports.

H Νιντεντο είχε μιλήσει για 250 δολλάρια και όχι για 200 δολλάρια. Δηλαδή αναμενόταν καμια 200 ευρώ στην Ευρώπη. Η τιμή κυκλοφορίας συνήθως ήταν 199 ευρώ (από το NES μέχρι το GC). Αν σπάσει αυτό το φράγμα, σημαίνει κοροιδία. Βέβαια σου λένε ότι έχει παιχνίδι, αλλά τι να το κάνεις το Wii sports οταν θέλεις το Zelda σαν τρελός.

Δεν το ψάχνω τεχνολογικά. Μ'αρέσουν τα παιχνίδια και η φιλοσοφία του Wii. Αυτό όμως δε σημαίνει ότι θέλω να με δουλεύουν οι επικεφαλής της Νιντεντο :-| . Αν κάποιο προϊον είναι υπερκοστολογημένο, να μην το πω? Αν έχει επεξεργαστή G3 (τεχνολογίας του 2000 παρακαλώ) να μη το θεωρώ υπερκοστολογημένο? Αν έχει G5 τότε μια χαρά, διότι θα πάρεις κονσόλα με καλά χαρακτηριστικά.

Η κοροιδία είναι το πρόβλημα μου.

Link will be Swordfighting!!!!

 

New videos show the hero of Hyrule in action. No lefties allowed!

 

Of course we all saw it coming when Nintendo announced its intention for Wii-mote sword fighting in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but it's now absolutely official: Link is a righty.

 

 

In a video shown just minutes ago in Japan, the Hyrulian hero himself was previewed battling bosses, navigating the countryside, and exploring vast dungeons in his new "anti-southpaw" stance. Though there is no official breakdown of how sword control works as of yet, Link can be seen performing multiple sword swipes and varying angles, showing off what seems to be a new fully-immersive fighting style for Wii players.

 

We'll have more on Link's right-handedness when we go hands-on with the game tomorrow morning. Stay tuned.

While some of these titles were shown at US and European conventions, the list includes some notable surprises, such as the underwater diving game Forever Blue, the action pinball-like Kororinpa, Taito's Wii version of Cooking Mama, and a few puzzle and variety games from major Japanese publishers.

 

The event also confirmed that Nintendo would put out a separate collection of mini-games, titled Hajimete no Wii ("Starting Out With Wii"). The game compilation includes a packed-in Wii Remote (for two-player action) and features nine different minigames, such as the Duck Hunt-like demo and ping pong games shown previously. Hajimete no Wii will ship at the same time as the console on December 2 and sell for 4,800 yen.
