Άντε να βγει...άντε να σκάσει και κάποιο αξιόπιστο τσιπάκι...άντε να φθηνύνει αρκετά... ...άντε να δίνουν μαζί 2-3 παιχνίδια δώρο.... άντε και ένα επιπλέον χειριστήριο...άντε να δω και κάνα παιχνίδι που θα γουστάρω τρελά.....και τότε μάλλον θα το αγοράσω.....

I preordered in August, my shit is fully paid and I was #16 on the list so I was guaranteed a system, right? Wrong. Wrong as a mofo. Yesterday EB called me and broke the bad news. Microsoft "cut" their Xbox 360 launch shipment to 12 units. Bum fuck. I don't know whose at fault, but I'd pin it on EB who repeatedly told me that my shit was guaranteed.

no games or demo's or anything from MS today but I got a HUGE booklet (that was printed not but 2 days ago) with Microsofts Keynote Of Intent for 2005. The first 32 pages are for the xbox 1 (boring stuff) and the next 26 pages are all about the xbox 360. Heres what I can say so far...

Walmart/Best Buy are the OFFICIAL sponser of the Xbox 360 Launch

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST The final shipment of the US Consoles on the 22nd is 1,098,200 (20% of those being cores and yes they gave EXACT numbers)

Microsoft plans on selling 4 million 360's within the next 5 months (that is a worldwide figure)

There are currently 2,190,876 Accesories being shipped on the 22nd to the US

There are currently 29 Games that will be available BEFORE the end of the 2005

There are current plans for sequels to NEW franchises that arent even out on the 360 yet

They plan on expanding there xbox live user base to 14 million users by the end of the 360 lifespan (wtf thats a huge number)

There is some other stuff i cant really comment on and the rest is stockholder information. This information is 100% legit as i got it straight from the source. If you own any MS shares you should have gotten your copy today as well. Id also like to note that if you did NOT reserve your xbox 360 I can almost guarantee that walmart/best buy will be getting a HUUGE majority of the units on the 22nd (like i said before but this note pretty much confirms it)

Η Microsoft σκοπεύει να πουλήσει 3 εκατομμύρια XB360 μέσα στις πρώτες 90 ημέρες !

Επίσης στοχεύουν σε έσοδα 1.5 δισ δολαρίων για το ίδιο χρονικό διάστημα από 360 hardware/software.

Μην ξεχνάς ότι μιλάμε ΤΟ ΠΟΛΥ για 3 εκ κονσόλες σε 3 μήνες , και 6-7 τον πρώτο χρόνο ,που αναφέρουν ότι θα παράγουν και θα πουλήσουν .

Αριθμός μικρός και σχεδόν ανάλογος του Xbox1 ,και νομίζω μικρότερος από τα Ps2 (ίσως και psp) που θα πουληθούν στο ίδιο διάστημα.

Επόμενος δεν τους νοιάζει να διοχετεύσουν τεράστιες ποσότητες, αλλά να κάνουν όσο πιο πολύ ντόρο γίνετε και να δείξουν σαν να «ξεπούλησαν» .

Καθαρό Marketing, κατά την γνώμη μου έξυπνο, και γιαυτό ταλαιπωρούν τους Αμερικάνους με τις μικρές ποσότητες σε προπαραγγελίες, και δίνουν κυρίως σε μεγάλα καταστήματα στην αρχή, όπου θα μπορέσει να γίνει διαφήμιση αλλά και να πουλήσουν γρήγορα.

Όχι ακριβώς BlizardBill, ο στόχος των 4.5- 5.5 εκατομμυρίων κονσολών είναι μέχρι τον Ιούνιο. Μέχριο το τέλος της επόμενης εορταστικής περιόδου θα μπορέσουν να παράγουν περισσότερες από 10 εκατομμύρια κονσόλες.

Halo 1 and 2 to run at 720p with Anti-aliasing on the Xbox 360

Well, the cat is out of the bag and Bungie is reporting that Halo 1 and 2 will support 720p and full scene anti-aliasing when played on the Xbox 360. If you scroll down the page, they also some have some screenshots as well.

But here's another bonus - the hardware in the 360 can do a lot of nifty stuff, and specifically in the cases of Halo and Halo 2, it can display the graphics in wide screen, at 720p, with full scene anti-aliasing. And it doesn't look kludgy, artifacty or smeary like an upscanning DVD player. The best way to describe it is that both games look like they're running on a PC at those resolutions.

We'll have some more information about these resolutions on Friday.

Now, to reiterate, we didn't redo any of the old textures or geometry - this is simply the game you already own, running at a higher resolution. The results are not miraculous, but for owners of HDTVs (or VGA monitors with the appropriate cable) they are sweet.

Do they work on Live? Like we already explained, they work exactly as they did before - that means System Link and split-screen for Halo, but - of course - no Live play (just like before!) - and for Halo 2 - System Link, Xbox Live and split screen as before. And yes, your existing Gamertag and Live Account will work just fine. I should note that split screen in 720p has obvious benefits.
