According to Gizmondo, retailers in Norway are having pressure put on them by Microsoft to sell their consoles. The stores get a total of twenty consoles, they get 6 core editions and 14 premium versions, but there is a catch.

 

Each store has to sign an agreement, saying that they will sell all their current stock at launch (December 2). On top of that retailers must also guarantee that they will sell two games per console.

 

“Microsoft Norway even said them selves that they’re gonna use the ‘Sold Out’ as a marketing strategy to hype the console.”

 

Οπως καταλαβατε,η Νορβηγια θα "παρει" μονο 20 κονσολες ανα καταστημα προς πωληση και αφου πωληθουν ολες οι κονσολες,θα κρεμασουν μια ταμπελα "Πουληθηκαν ολα" ετσι ωστε να "ανεβει" η κονσολα διαφημηστικα!!!!Η Ελλαδα τι θα παρει???

 

Υστερα απο συνομιλια μου τετ α τετ με εναν απο τους υπευθυνους της Microsoft Hellas για το marketing(backbone marketing,οχι τα διαφημηστικα που βλεπουμε σε TV περιοδικα,sites κτλ.) μου ειπε πως η κονσολα θα ειναι 100% διαθεσιμη απο ολα τα μεγαλα καταστηματα οπως Κοτσωβολος,Πλαισιο και ολα τα αλλα γνωστα μεγαλα καταστηματα.Οι "μικροι" δεν ξερουν αν θα μπορεσουν να "αρπαξουν" κοσνολες για πουλημα ακομα.Ηταν 100% σιγουρος οτι το 360 θα ερθει στην ωρα του.(τον ρωτησα 5 φορες!)

 

Υπάρχει η υπόθεση οτι η αγαπημένη μας εταιρεία δημιουγεί τεχνιτή

έλειψη στην κονσόλα για να πουλήσει περισσότερα Core(299 ευρω) συστήματα

και να κερδίσει περισσότερα χρηματα μια και ο καταναλωτής θα

πρεπει να αγοράσει τα υπόλοιπα περιφεριακά μόνος του σε μεγαλύτερη τιμή απο την συνολική προσφορά του premium πακετου !! ΩΡΑΙΑ Ε?

Currently it seems worldwide consumers will see a shortage of Xbox 360’s, with many not getting their beloved console before Christmas. But could this be a great marketing ploy to get gamers to buy the Xbox 360 Core system. Who knows, we will of course keep you updated.

Καλό... οι ομοιότητες είναι πάρα πολλές, αλλά πλάκα έχει πως και από τα 11 που λέει ότι διαφέρουν, τα μισά θα έπρεπε να πάνε στις ομοιότητες !!!

Πχ, το xbox1 δεν ήταν καθόλου επιτυχία ,όπως λένε ...το "360" δεν είναι backwards compatible ακόμα ... έχει πολλά παιχνίδια αλλά δεν ξεχωρίζει κανένα ... το ff θα βγεί πάνω που θα αρχίσει να πουλάει πολύ το xbox ... το χειριστήριο του xbox επίσης δεν άρεσε σε πολλούς, κλπ.

Press gets Xbox 360s: AC Adapter 85percent of PStwo with 2 fans

According to Famitsu, the Xbox 360's AC adaptor is the largest of any game console, with a length of 210 mm, width of 75 mm and height of 54 mm. The Japanese game magazine obtained an advance shipment of a limited edition Xbox 360 launch pack.

The adapter itself is roughly 85 percent in volume of the slim PS2 (850.5 cubic centimeters versus 978.9 cubic centimeters).

 

According to Microsoft, the larger adapter is due to the higher electrical power consumption of the Xbox 360. The max power consumption of Microsoft's next-gen console is 254 watts--notably higher than the 200 watts for the Xbox and dwarfing the 45 watts for the PlayStation 2.

Interestingly, the adaptor purportedly has two fans inside, too. While Microsoft has yet to give official word on the final retail adapter for the North American version, the chances are high that the stateside Xbox 360 will also have a hefty AC adapter as well.
