Από όσα έχω ακούσει εγώ πάντως, η τιμή αναμένετε ανάμεσα στα 400 και 500 δολάρια αρχικά.

May 17, 2005 - According a an article published in the May 17th edition of Japan's Mainichi Shimbun,

IGN was unable to validate this news with Sony officials.

"In the latest Famitsu, a very important person mentioned that the PS3 price would not be over 40000yen". This information correlates to a previous comment from a Sony rep a few months back, who mentioned the same price. With any luck this will turn out to be the case, and Japan will see the PS3 in the spring of 2006 for slightly under $400.

 

One thing to note though is that the PS2 was also released in Japan for a bit under 40000 yen, but when it came to the U.S. it was sold for a hundred dollars less at $299. It's not out of the question that same sort of pricing scheme will be employed this time as well.

Μία ενδιαφέρουσα συζήτηση έχει αρχίσει να γίνεται στο Beyond3d σχετικά με τα ψέματα της sony στην περασμένη Ε3.

Η αφορμή δόθηκε από μία συνέτευξη που κυκλοφόρησε από την blur studios η οποία φαίνεται ότι τελικά ήταν η δημιουργός του CGI VIDEO του KILLZONE2 και στην οποία δίνει περισσότερες πληροφορίες για την κατασκευή του φιλμ.

Όλα αυτά όπως αναμενόταν βγάζουν ψεύτη τον CEO Jack Tretton που διαβεββαίωνε ότι όλα αυτά είναι gameplay.

Όλα αυτά όπως αναμενόταν βγάζουν ψεύτη τον CEO Jack Tretton που διαβεββαίωνε ότι όλα αυτά είναι gameplay.

Κλασική περίπτωση hype απο πλευράς Sony...

Nομίζω οτι έχει γίνει γνωστό σχεδόν αμέσως μετά την Ε3 ότι το Killzone ήταν

pre-rendered και τα γραφικά του είναι αυτά που αναμένεται να πετύχει η Guerilla

με το PS3...Πάντως κατα τη γνώμη μου αυτά τα γραφικά πρέπει να είναι μέσα

στις δυνατότητες του PS3, αν αναλογιστεί κανείς όσα έχουμε δεί ώς τώρα

(π.χ. Doom3, Quake4, FEAR), αφού σίγουρα οι next-gen κονσόλες θα πετύχουν

καλύτερα αποτελέσματα απο τα παραπάνω games ...
