Αν πετύχει η κονσόλα θα βρεί τρόπο να τα ρουφάει και θα της λέμε κ ευχαριστώ φίλε xrest...

Μπορεί να "ρουφάει" για να καλύπτει κάποια έξοδα από πωλήσεις αλλά και διαφημίσεις , δεν είναι κάτι καινούργιο , και προς τα εκεί πάνε όλο και μεγαλύτερες υπηρεσίες στο internet.

Εχει πολλά θετικά μια τέτοια "free" κοινότητα με πολύ κόσμο, και εδώ.

(Επίσης , αν δεν συμφέρει, η Sony δεν πρόκειται να προσφέρει δωρεάν demo downloads - trailers ή ότι άλλο κάνει η Microsoft)

Άσχετο, αλλά εμένα θα μου ήταν αρκετό απλά να επιτρέψει η sony (και υποστηρίξουν όλα τα παιχνίδια) να γίνει server ένα ps3 , για να παίζουμε online μεταξύ μας λίγα άτομα.

Δεν ξέρω αν μπορεί να το κάνει το xbox360(μάλλον όχι), αλλά αφού έγινε λίγο νομίζω και στο ps2, περιμένω να δω πως θα το ενσωματώσουν στις δωρεάν online υπηρεσίες του ps3.

PS3 Won't Charge for Network Services... Probably

Kutaragi says the PS3 will keep much of its online features free.

June 12, 2006 - According to an article at Gamesindustry.biz about an interview Japanese site PC Impress Watch had with Sony Computer Entertainment president Ken Kutaragi, even though Sony is looking forward to making bank on sales of downloadable content for the PS3, there will be no charge for basic online services.

 

 

"You can't charge money for network matching and other basic services. These things are just taken for granted on the PC." Kutaragi said. "On the PS3, basic services will be taken for granted while content will be the bread and butter of our business."

 

Kutaragi has been very firm about how the PS3 is "not just a game machine for kids". According to this recent interview Kutaragi had wanted to see the online functionality on the PS2 and Apple has paved the way for digital distribution.

 

This further supports Sony's stance on its next-gen console being more a computer than a gaming platform. President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Phil Harrison previously said, " When you buy a game console, a primarily entertainment device, then you only want that. We believe that the PS3 will be the place where the users will play, watch movies, surf the web, and use other computer entertainment functionality. The PS3 is a computer. We don't need the PC."

 

From launch day Kutaragi promises the use of free network services and he expressed the belief that consumers will embrace the idea of digitally delivered content within one or two years. He even went so far as to claim that: "I expect even the hard disk to disappear eventually."

 

IGN contacted Sony for confirmation that unlike Xbox Live, which charges a yearly subscription fee for the Gold account that enables online gaming, the PS3 network gaming will be totally free. A representative for Sony said only that "our plans for PlayStation 3's online services have not been determined or announced."

 

Of course if Sony Public Relations said Sony still hasn't announced a price scheme, what is Kutaragi talking about?
