Κάτι ανάλογο συμβαίνει και στο dvd του xbox που μπορεί να έχει ίδια περίπου ταχύτητα μεταφοράς με το blueRay, αλλά έχει βγάλει φωτιές κυριολεκτικά για να μεταφέρει ακριβώς τα ίδια που το BlueRay μεταφέρει "σε χαλαρές στροφές".

Δεν έχει μεγαλύτερη μετάδοση δεδομένων από το Dvd, θα γυρίζει πολύ πιο αργά , και γενικά θα μπορεί να δουλεύει συνεχώς χωρίς να ζεσταίνει το σύστημα όπως βλέπουμε στο Xbox.
