Associate a drive with an icon using .inf file

Ena aplo tweak gia na alaksoume to icon apo to/ta partitions pou exoume sto my computer tou sklhrou mas diskou xwris na peiraksoume tin registry.Auto to tweak mas dinei tin eukairia na exoume diaforetika icons se diaforetika partitions.

 

1. Ftiaxnoume ena new notepad file (Start - Programs - Accesorries - Notepad) h kanoume dexi click kai New Text Document.

2. Grafoume mesa sto text document

opou harddisc.ico (bazoune to onoma tou arxeiou tou icon pou theloume na xrisimopoihsoume gia na emfanizetai ston sklhro mas disko)

 

3.Kanoume to text document save as autorun.inf

4.Topothetoume to autorun.inf mazi me to epithimito icon (stin prokeimeni periptwsi to harddisc.ico) sto partition pou theloume na emfanizetai to siggekrimeno icon

tip. An theloume mporoume kai to autorun.inf kai to harddisc.ico na ta kanoume hidden gia na min fenontai (prepei na exoume enabled to option sta windows folder settings "Do not show hidden files and folders") gia na min ta svisoume katalathos i gia na min mas enoxloune.

5.Kanoume restart ta windows.
