Απίστευτα cinematics.Καταπληκτική μουσική. Τρομερή υπόθεση και πλοκή. Τρεις πόλεις (Μiami,Νίκαια,Κωνσταντινούπολη) δοσμένες με όλες τους τις λεπτομέρειες. Πάρα πολύ ευχάριστο driving κομμάτι. Δύο από τις πιο θανατηφόρες γυναίκες σε παιχνίδι.

Τελικά, ένα παιχνίδι δεν χρειάζεται τέλεια γραφικά, ούτε καν καλά γραφικά, για να είναι κορυφαίο.

Issues resolved in this patch

 

You may encounter some screen corruption in the Main Menu if Anti-Aliasing is enabled on your video card.

 

If you have an ATI Radeon series video card you may encounter a situation where at night if you collide with another object the buildings nearest or in line-of-sight of the collision will appear with rainbow or bright white textures.

 

If you have a Matrox P750 or Matrox Parhelia video card you may encounter a situation where vehicle windows are not displaying properly and showing up as a solid white texture.

 

During gameplay, if you have all other video options enabled except for advanced shaders, you may encounter a situation where your character's hands and legs appear white. To resolve this go into Options - Settings - Display - Advanced Video Card Settings and enable advanced shaders.

 

Added improvements to enhance gameplay performance.

General system issues

 

Optimizing gameplay on slower computers

 

If you are experiencing slowdown, try turning the detail levels for all graphical options down to the minimum, and then adjusting them one by one until you achieve an acceptable balance between visual quality and game performance.

Note that disabling shadows has the greatest impact on the game's performance, so this option is a good place to start when tuning the game's performance.

 

Video Issues

 

General Video Card Troubleshooting.

 

Outdated or incorrect video drivers are the cause of the majority of video issues. Before contacting support, ensure you have the latest production (release) drivers for your video card.

I get a message that says "Unable to initialize DirectX." when I try to launch the game.

 

Possible solutions to this problem include:

 

1. Make sure you have DirectX 9.0C or greater and that it is working properly. 2. Make sure you have the latest video drivers for your video card. 3. Try running Driv3r in Safe Mode (use the Driv3r - Safe Mode shortcut on the start menu).

 

If you have a Geforce FX series video card, such as a Geforce FX 5200, you may encounter a situation where if you enable all graphical options you will notice poor performance. To resolve this go into Options - Settings - Display - Advanced Video Card Settings and turn off Shadows, Advanced Shaders, and Anti-Aliasing which will improve performance.

 

During gameplay you may encounter a situation where, depending upon the viewing angle and distance from the car you are driving a black box will appear around your steering wheel. This is a known issue.

 

During gameplay you may encounter a situation where, if you have shadows enabled and are standing in a shadowed area on a daylight level, the muzzle flash from your selected weapon will not be present while it is present during nighttime levels. This is a known issue.

 

Display Issues

 

If you have a LCD display you may encounter a situation where during all introduction movies, before selecting a profile, the picture is offset to the left or to the right and auto-adjustment does not help. To resolve this issue, once you have created a profile go into Options - Settings - Display - Advanced Video Card Settings and adjust your resolution to 800x600 or higher.

 

Sound Issues

 

If you are experiencing sound problems, including volume issues, missing audio channels (i.e., no sound comes through your center speaker channel), crashes, or any other audio issues, we recommend switching your sound driver to the default MILES Fast 2D Driver.

 

If you have a Sound Blaster PCI 16/64/128 sound card you may encounter a situation where if you hit ESC when firing a fully automatic weapon, such as the M16, the audio will stutter for a few seconds before entering the menu.

 

If you have a Sound Blaster Live! 5.1, Sound Blaster Audigy, Sound Blaster Audigy LS, or ADI AD1980 sound card you may encounter a situation where with 5.1 speakers selected, in third-person camera view, any in-game effects, such as gunfire, only come from the center channel. This is normal behavior.

 

If you have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz, Sound Blaster Live! 5.1, Sound Blaster Audigy LS, or Realtek ALC650 sound card you may encounter a situation where in the game menu and during cutscenes, regardless of audio settings, with 5.1 speakers selected, no sound is produced by the center channel. This is normal behavior.

 

If you have a Sound Blaster Extigy sound card you may encounter a situation where during gameplay, regardless of audio settings, with 5.1 speakers selected, the front left and right speakers only produce audio. This is normal behavior.

 

Peripheral Issues

 

Driv3r does not support non-analog gamepads, such as the Microsoft Sidewinder, Gravis Gamepad Pro, or Logitech Precision gamepad. You will need to obtain an analog controller, such as the Logitech Dual-Action gamepad or Logitech Wingman Rumblepad if you wish to play Driv3r with a gamepad.

ειναι απαραδεκτα και τα γραφικα και το gameplay,απογοητευτηκα πολυ γιατι το περιμενα πως και πως.ακριβως οπως λεει ο yannakas τα γραφικα ειναι διετιας.μπορεσε κανενας να το παιξει μονο με το controller ικανοποιητικα?Αντι για driv3r παντως αυτο που ειδα ηταν μια κακη απομιμηση του GTA.Επισης ακομα κι οταν τα αμαξια φτανουν top speed δε σας φαινεται οτι πανε αργα?καμια αισθηση ταχυτητας

Αν το δει κανείς σαν παιχνίδι όντως δεν λέει πολλά, αν και το driving τμήμα του είναι αρκετά καλό, ιδίως αν σκεφτεί κανείς ότι οι πόλεις είναι απεικονίσεις των πραγματικών. Γενικά οι πόλεις δείχνουν πολύ πιο ζωντανές από το GTA.

Το gameplay δεν έχει καμμία σχέση με το GTA, το drive3r είναι μία γραμμική σειρά αποστολών.

Αυτό που εμένα με ξετρέλανε είναι η ατμόσφαιρα, τα cinetmatics και η τόση ποικιλία στο gameplay, κάθε αποστολή είναι διαφορετική από τις πρηγούμενες.

Πρώτη φορά σε ένα ρηχό παιχνίδι δράσης τα cinematics έχουν τόση σημασία. Η ιστορία είναι πολύ καλή και δένει πολύ ωραία με τη δράση.

Πιο πολύ είναι μία ωραία ταινία όπου παίζεις εσύ, παρά ένα παιχνίδι με replayability ή βάθος.

Voodooman εχεις πολυ δικιο για τα cinematics,ειναι κορυφαια και σε βαζουν στον χαρακτηρα,αλλα κανεις δε δινει 50 ευρω γι'αυτα.οι πολεις δε δειχνουν πιο ζωντανες απο το gta,ειναι πολυ αχρωμες και μουντες και τα γραφικα του δε βοηθανε στο να αποδωθουν πιστα οι πολεις.Η οδηγηση ειναι απολαυστικη μεν αλλα αισθανομαι οτι λειπουν ολες οι ταχυτητες μετα την τριτη.ακομα και τα πιο σπορ αυτοκινητα ειναι αργα.σπινιαρουν σαν να εχουν 1000 αλογα και στην ευθεια πανε μεχρι 100.Ολα αυτα στο pc παντως,για xbox δε ξερω,αλλα σημειωστε οτι ημουνα φανατικος της σειρας driver αλλα το 3 με ξενερωσε πολυ...

Όντως, λυπάμαι που το λέω, αλλά το νοίκιασα από club και σίγουρα δεν θα έδινα 50 ευρώ για να το πάρω.

Invictus, και εγώ δεν μπορώ να εξηγήσω γιατί μου άρεσε τόσο, δεν με ενθουσιάζουν τα arcade παιχνίδια, αλλά μάλλον με αιχμαλώτισε η ατμόσφαιρα του παιχνιδιού! Το driving τμήμα του είναι ψιλοχάλια, το action για κλάμματα, τα γραφικά πάσχουν,παρόλα αυτά θέλω να το τελειώσω, για να δω το επόμενο cinematic και το πού πάει η ιστορία.

Και εδώ μπαίνει το πρόβλημα της πραγματικής "αξίας" ενός παιχνιδιού. Πήρα γνήσιο το Football Manager 2005 όχι για κανέναν άλλο λόγο, αλλά γιατί ήξερα ότι θα το παίζω για τα επόμενα δύο χρόνια, το ίδιο και το Rome Total War. Ετοιμάζομαι τώρα για τα GTR και Silent hunter 3. Κατά τη γνώμη μου, τα action παιχνίδια δεν δικαιολογούν την τόσο υψηλή τιμή τους.

Αλλά ας μη ξεφεύγω από το thread που ο ίδιος δημιούργησα!..
