ADSL-Gaming Problems

Γεια σας, εχω εδω και ενα μηνα Adsl otenet 384 και το μοντεμ speedtouch 530i με PPoA . Δυστυχως αντιμετωπίζω προβλήματα με παιχνίδα οπως Pro evolution soccer 4 , warcraft3 , counter-strike. Δεν μπορω να κανω create games,σαν να εχω firewall , ομως απο οτι φαινεται δεν εχω.Το μόντεμ ειναι συνδεδεμένο σε LAN σε 1 PC μόνο. Καμια συμβουλή;

Για το PES4 κάνε τα εξής (πάντως, έχει ξαναδοθεί αυτή η απάντηση)

 

Routers & Firewalls:

 

Pes4 uses port 5739 UDP to play online. If you are behind a router, you must ensure that you forward port

5739 to your IP address within your LAN. The port forward option for your router may be listed as "virtual

server" in your router settings.

 

If you are behind a firewall you also have to ensure that port 5739 is open and not being blocked by your

firewall if you want to play Pes4 Online. Make sure that you allow access for Pes4.exe and

Pes4Launcher.exe

 

I can host but not client - how can I fix this?

 

A possible solution is to enable "DMZ" in your router settings. However, "DMZ" turns off your router

firewall and opens all your ports leaving you vulnerable to an attack. If you are using Windows XP, you

should download SP2 and enable the built-in firewall. Configure it to "allow exceptions" for Pes4.exe and

Pes4Launcher.exe. You should then be able to client and host online with no problems through your

router using a software firewall.
