αφου βλεπω οτι ειστε και οι δυο Senior members προτεινω μια βολτιτσα απο το http://www.blackviper.com στα tips για να αυξησετε το bandwidth.

Τα προγραμματα δεν κανουν ουσιαστικα τιποτα περισσοτερο, θα ελεγα οτι μας δουλευουν κιολας.

Αν εχει καποιος αλλη γνωμη ας διαφωτισει κι εμενα..

Καθως ειμαι και γω ενας απο τους καημενους(..λεγε με 56αρα)βρηκα το παρακατω προγραμμα,για το οποιο διαβαζω τελειως αντιφατικα σχολια.Αυτο που με εβαλε σε σκεψεις ειναι πως δεν ηταν λιγοι αυτοι που λενε πως οντως δουλευει(βεβαια ειναι εξισου πολλοι που λενε το ακριβως αντιθετο).Γι αυτο λοιπον download και δοκιμη(αν και ειμαι και γω τους δευτερους)μια και δεν εχουμε τιποτα να χασουμε(εκτος απο τα 3 mb download)

How does ONSPEED work?

 

As you cannot physically change the speed of your Internet connection, ONSPEED uses Content Sensitive Compression ('CSC') to individually compress each element you request from a web pages or email messages using nine Patent approved proprietary dedicated compression algorithms.

The end result is that your web pages and emails load and download as quickly as if you were on a Broadband connection.

When your web browser requests a Web Page, the ONSPEED software redirects that request to the ONSPEED Compression Servers. They take the respective Web Page contents, compress them and send them back down to the ONSPEED software which decompresses it and sends it to the Browser requesting the information.

However, ONSPEED will not accelerate certain files such as MP3, Mpeg, EXE and streaming video these files will pass through our servers without being accelerated.

A 56k modem will not connect at more than 52000bps because of the capacity of our phone lines despite the theoretical limit of 56600bps. divide by 1024 to get 50.7kb/s times7 then divide by 8 for parity error check to get 44.43kbs then divide by 8 to get in kB/s which gives 5.55kB/s maximum download for a 56k modem. assuming that you have a good connection. If your software includes the parity checkbit as download then you get 6.34kB/s through your modem.

You will find that the download rate for IE is calculated as an average over the length of the download, if you cache the first 100k or so then you will get distorted figures. If you use software like gozilla, which samples the rate during the download you will see the true speed, not the average for the whole file.

Compression is irrelevant because the compression is done before and after the file transfer not during.

 

There are a number of these programs out there. They compress the files. What they DON'T tell you is that what suffers the most is graphics. It will only send one out of 3 or 5 graphics depending on how you have it set.

If you are on a dialup, it will increase speed, but not necessarily as fast as they say. If you don't mind losing graphic resolution it can work pretty well for uploading and downloading.

 

It really works for dialup users, but graphics pictures may not appear good. Beware this application logs all

web pages visited by you and onspeed.com can block your ip or any

websites. They might even know your email id for sending ads.

So use this at your own risk.

Gi0 αυτό το onspeed το είχα δοκιμάσει πέρσι και όντως δουλεύει και πολύ καλά μάλιστα. Ανοιγαν όλες οι σελίδες ταχύτατα και είμαι με isdn 64.

To παράτησα όμως μόλις έληξε η δοκιμαστική περίοδος.

Αυτο που φοβαμαι με αυτους τους boosters ειναι οτι μπορει να χαλασουν την συνδεση στο Internet μια για παντα.

 

Επηρεαζουν δηλαδη πρωτοκολλα, registry, κλπ και αν θελησει κανεις να το βγαλει δεν ξερω αν θα παρει πισω το συστημα του ανεπαφο οπως ηταν πριν.

 

Και δεν ειμαστε για format τωρα...

wert οντως δουλευει το ατιμο!Αλλα μονο crackable δεν ειναι καθως περναει απο τους servers της εταιριας.:wink: Αλλα αξιζει τα λεφτα του απ οτι βλεπω!

karib Χωρις να ξερω,υποθετω πως μαλλον εχει να κανει με τους servers τις εταιριας και την συμπιεση(?)που εφαρμοζουν πριν σου στειλουν την σελιδα.Big brother big time(..ολα απο αυτους περνανε) αλλα αν δεν εχεις τιποτα να κρυψεις...

Το back up ειναι ετοιμο παντως σε περιπτωση που εχεις δικιο!:wink:

Δηλαδη σε μια 56k συνδεση για ποση περιπου αυξηση ταχυτητας μιλαμε? (σελιδες με λιγα γραφικα-πχ.flash.gr)

Du meter και online eye pro εφτασαν μεχρι και 9kb/s (εφτασαν,δεν καρφωθηκαν εκει)απο το συνηθες max 4.7-5kb που εχω.Παιζουν γυρω στο 6-7 στην καλυτερη.Καμια σχεση ξαναλεω με την broadband που υποσχονται αλλα οταν κατεβαζω σελιδες με 5kb,1-1.5kb ακομα ειναι ευπροσδεκτο.Ενα αλλο που παρατηρησα ειναι πως οταν βαζεις max speed=cruppy pics,τα cruppy pics ισχυουν μονο στον iexplorer που ανοιξα δοκιμαστικα.Στο opera κανενα αποτελεσμα.Θα θελα να μαθω πως λειτουργει..Τι διαολο κανουν και μπορω και παιρνω κατι παραπανω απο το κανονικο?Δεν ισχυει αυτο?

Για multiplayer games δεν το δοκιμασα..Give it a shot!(..εστω και για 7 μερες)

Είναι της εταιρείας που βγάζει το Spy Sweeper. Θα το δοκιμάσω για δυο-τρεις μέρες και θα στείλω παρατηρήσεις...
