Φυσικά και το κάνει και πολύ καλά μάλιστα. :mrgreen:

Μόνο που δεν κάνει τον διαχωρισμό μετά τις 10 το βράδυ μέχρι 8 πρωί που ισχύει το φτηνό τιμολόγιο.

Μετράει επίσης και το transfer upload και download και άλλα πολλά διάφορα.

Εγώ το χρησιμοποιώ και όταν θέλω να κλείσω τον υπολογιστή μόλις τελειώσει κάποιο download συνήθως όταν αυτό γίνεται μέσω IE αφού για ftp ή αν κάνεις download με το flash get τότε δίνουν αυτά τα προγράμματα τη δυνατότητα να κλείσουν τον υπολογιστή.

Το συγκεκριμένο πρόγραμμα μου αντικατέστησε στην συγκεκριμένη λειτουργία το *απίστευτο* utility που λέγεται WinSystem98 όταν πήγα από τα Win9x στα Win2k

 

BTW άν παίζεις ακόμα με Win9x δες το WinSystem98 ή στείλε μου pm για να στο στείλω με email - δεν μπορείς να διανοηθείς τί κάνει αυτό προγραμματάκι! - δες ένα review που είχα βρει και είχα κρατήσει για να πάρεις μία ιδέα...

WinSystem 98 is an ever-improving system analysis utility that offers an assortment of information about the inner-workings of your personal computer. Although this program is not very in-depth or complex, it still offers a melange of useful information -- thereby warranting this review.

 

The most fundamental feature found in WinSystem 98 is a memory monitor. This panel displays the total amount of memory, the amount of RAM available (in kilobytes) and the percentage free. The results are displayed graphically and may be updated at user-edited intervals.

 

To further enhance this memory feature is the ability to free memory with the click of a button. WinSystem 98 clears your memory, moving any important files or information to the Windows Swap file. The amount of memory freed is optional to the user, but it must be within the range of 10 to 70 percent of the total system memory. You can also choose to have WinSystem 98 automatically free memory after a particular period of time or if available memory is less than a particular percentage.

 

WinSystem 98 can also monitor information about your processor and motherboard. CPU usage is examined and a percentage is displayed graphically -- the percent may be displayed either historically or instantaneously. The difference between these two methods is that the historic view renders CPU usage over a period in time, while the second method displays specific usage in real time. In addition, WinSystem 98 can display the temperature of your motherboard and/or processor if it has a compatible chipset. The temperature may be presented in either Celsius or Fahrenheit and critical temperatures can be set. If a defined critical value is reached or exceeded, you'll be warned audibly. Additional CPU and motherboard information includes Voltage settings.

 

There are several other noteworthy features, including a resource monitor that displays GDI and User resources (memory used by running programs). There is also a process function that allows you to easily kill open tasks. This is similar to the Windows task manager, except that it offers more detailed information about each running task. If monitoring your Internet connection is more your speed, WinSystem 98 has you covered -- NetStat monitors modem throughput as well as transmission sizes of sent and received files. All of this information is logged.

 

The latest release of WinSystem 98 includes a new security feature which lets you password protect system access -- in effect locking users out of your system. This security isn't full-proof as the user can just reboot your system, but you can setup WinSystem 98 to load at startup effectively restarting the system lock-down. This is more than enough security against novices -- advanced users are a different matter.

 

WinSystem 98 is an incredibly useful program that is delivered in an equally incredibly small package. All that's required is an executable, but the author has added an installation wizard. To make things even easier is the option to start automatically at Windows startup and the ability to always remain on top of other windows. As an alternative, WinSystem 98 can minimize to a system tray icon or dock to any edge of your screen.

 

Overall an excellent program with no major caveats worth mentioning, WinSystem 98 is definitely a worthwhile download. Add the fact that it's freeware, and you've got a program worth keeping an eye on.
